Refrag is a trade-kill made immediately after a teammate is killed, usually to punish the player who got the first frag or to regain control of a fight.
In Counter-Strike 2, refragging is a core part of team play because it turns individual deaths into a coordinated response: one player takes the duel, and a second player is positioned to swing, trade, or pre-aim the enemy who exposed themselves. Good refrags reduce the value of opening picks and make executes, holds, and retakes more reliable.
For example, if a defender on Mirage gets picked while holding Connector, a nearby teammate can peek the same angle a moment later and refrag the attacker before they can reposition.
