Safe Plant / Default Plant:

A safe plant, or default plant, is a bomb plant placed in a common, defensible spot that gives the Terrorist team strong post-plant coverage and makes the bomb harder to retake. In Counter-Strike 2, the term usually refers to planting for a specific area of the bombsite so teammates can watch the bomb from safer positions rather than standing directly on top of it.

Teams use default plants to reduce risk during the plant and to create more consistent post-plant setups with crossfires, utility, and line-of-sight control.

FAQs

Is a safe plant the same as a default plant?
Yes. In Counter-Strike 2, the terms are commonly used for the same idea: a standard plant spot that supports a strong post-plant position.
