Silent Drop / Crouch-Peek is a movement and angle-clearing technique in Counter-Strike 2 that combines a quiet drop or a crouched peek to reduce the sound and predictability of an entry.

A silent drop is used when a player steps off a ledge or box in a way that minimizes landing noise, helping them reposition without giving away their location. A crouch-peek uses a crouched movement to change the height and timing of the peek, making the player harder to hit or prefire at the expected head level. In both cases, the goal is to gain information or take space while limiting the audio and visual clues an opponent receives. For example, on Mirage, a player can quietly drop from under balcony into apartments, then crouch-peek the doorway to check for a defender holding a tight angle.
