Facecheck is a term commonly used in multiplayer games like League of Legends to describe entering an area of the map without prior knowledge of the enemy's location. The term is specifically used for League of Legends a lot thanks to the number of bushes there are in the jungle. While wards definitely help with player vision, players don’t have an unlimited amount of them, so it’s only natural that players will have to see for themselves whether a specific area has enemies hiding or not.
