Off-site is a player or team position away from the main bomb site, usually held to watch a flank, control a rotation route, or create a crossfire from an unexpected angle.
In VALORANT, off-site positions matter because they let defenders keep map control without stacking everyone on the planted site, and they can force attackers to clear more angles before committing. Off-site players often stay close enough to trade or rotate, but far enough to avoid being caught by the first utility dump onto site. For example, on defense a player may hold Garage while the rest of the team anchors A, giving early warning if attackers split through mid and a chance to pinch the hit from the side.
