Gabe Logan Newell, better known as Gaben, is an American businessman and the president of the video game company Valve. He was born on November 3, 1962, in Colorado, United States, and went to Harvard University where he ended up dropping out to work for Bill Gates at Microsoft.
His nickname, Gaben, originated from his work email. He has said many times that he's a fan of My Little Pony, and he is one of the few people who are openly critical of preserving the open nature of PC gaming.
