Kingboost: What is Kingboost?

Kingboost is an online boosting website that links players willing to boost someone's account and those looking for boosters. Although the website markets itself to the World of Warcraft community, it also provides services for other games such as Destiny 2, Diablo 4, Genshin Impact, and more.

The website has been around since at least 2016 and has been going strong since. Despite the service being almost a decade old, it’s made a name for itself and gotten lots of regulars, even though it has minor controversies.

Founding History

Kingboost intro

No one knows the exact month and date of when Kingboost was found. However, according to Nikita Poterukhin's Behance profile [1], a UI designer who's from Belarus, it’s been around since 2016, meaning it's older than many other top boosting sites.
The website was initially made for WoW players but evolved into a place for other gamers.

The exact name of the CEO is unknown, but there’s a LinkedIn account with the name “Kingboostnet WoW boost” [2], where it states that Kingboost has been in the works since February 2014 and that they’re the director. Besides that, there’s nothing else on that profile.

A year after its inception, the boosting service started showing up on social media websites like Facebook [3] and Twitter [4]. The Twitter account stopped tweeting after September 2020, but their Facebook account is still going strong, where they still post gaming memes and updates regarding WoW. The followings on both accounts are pretty low, considering how old the boosting service is.

Kingboost has good reviews, and it seems that even though they have fewer followers on their socials, they’ve been getting pretty stable traffic on their website. According to similarweb [5], in March 2024, the website gained traffic compared to the previous month, where now its global ranking stands at around 130,000.

Offered Services

As mentioned earlier, Kingboost primarily advertises itself as a WoW boosting website whereas it also offers services for other games like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2, where boosters will help people rank up in competitive modes.

The way the website boosts is split into three categories: Piloted, Selfplay, and Coaching.

Service Controversies

Kingboost Reddit post

Despite having good reviews on websites like Trustpilot, where it's rated 4.7/5  [6]with over 25 thousand reviews, players on Reddit have complained about the service a lot. So much so that several Reddit posts [7] have been made against the website calling it out for being a scam and not worth the time and money potential customers can invest.

According to those Reddit users, the website is full of scammers who take orders, waste time, and ultimately don't deliver. When asked for refunds, they disappear without a trace, which is arguably the worst thing a boosting service website can do.

User Reviews

As mentioned earlier, websites like Trustpilot and reviews.io [8]give Kingboost ratings higher than 4.0, which is quite a lot. However, players on other platforms, like Reddit, claim the service is a scam.

Kingboost has a little over 1500 reviews at the time of writing, which makes the score of 4 good but not impressive, as websites with double the review Kingboost have manage to score better review scores.
