OdinBoost: What is OdinBoost?

OdinBoost (odinboost.com) is a boosting service-providing website that also excels in providing coaching services for its customers. The website specifically focuses on games that are associated with Riot Games, including League of Legends, Valorant, and Wild Rift.

OdinBoost was founded in 2020 when it initially only focused on League of Legends [1], as proven by how the founder staff only consisted of LoL players. However, over time, it has flourished to be a well-known website with thousands of completed reviews. The website’s Trustpilot alone boasts almost 2,000 reviews and most of them are positive.

Founding History

OdinBoost was first founded in 2020 by Seref A from Aydın, Türkiye [2]. Interestingly, OdinBoost isn’t the only company Seref runs, as he went on to found n3tz two years after OdinBoost’s inception. N3tz is a web3-focused company offering clients and companies several IT-related services [3].

OdinBoost was initially founded alongside a staff of players who exclusively played League of Legends, which makes sense seeing as how Valorant, the only other game they provide services for, had not been released back then.

OdinBoost has a handful of social media accounts, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter (X), and Facebook. However, despite having an oddly high number of followers and likes, all of the website’s social media accounts have been abandoned since around 2022, suggesting that most of the likes and followers may be part of OdinBoost’s team.

Services Offered

As mentioned above, OdinBoost only offers services for League of Legends, Valorant, Wild Rift, and Teamfight Tactics. The offered services include boosting and coaching.

Firstly is what the website is most known for, which is its boosting service. OdinBoost provides the same four boosting services for all of its supporting games which include ELO boosting, Duo Boosting, Win Boosting, and Placement Matches. The Placement Matches service should be noted in particular as OdinBoost specifically states that “We guarantee 4/5 wins in your placements. If the booster loses more than 1 game, we will compensate each loss with 2 additional wins.” [4] Keep this in mind as we’ll get back to it later.

As for the second offered service, OdinBoost also offers coaching services for League of Legends, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift. However, at the time of writing, we only saw the website with 13 coaches we could hire, and none of them were for Wild Rift, making some wonder why the game is even in the coaching section if OdinBoost doesn’t have any coaches for it.

Service Controversies

When it comes to boosting, the website proudly proclaims that it has “200+ Top-Tier Active Boosters.” The live-chat agents do the same by stating that they have “around 250” boosters. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case as when we visited the website we only saw around 70 available boosters we could hire.

Perhaps one of the most unsettling things OdinBoost has been accused of is that the boosters the website hires are not good. It’s crucial for a boosting website to have highly skilled players, which is why this controversial accusation is all the more jarring.

A post on Reddit by user LimitObjective6462 talks about how the customer purchased a LoL boost from OdinBoost, and expected the booster to win most of their placement matches [5]. Do you remember that statement we mentioned before about how OdinBoost promised to win at least 4 out of 5 placements?

League of Legends used to have ten placements back in 2022 when this event transpired, and the booster apparently lost 6 games in a row and cost the customer 7 hours of their time. While it’s understandable that things happen, especially in a competitive game like League of Legends, it’s troubling when a direct statement made by OdinBoost is proven incorrect.

While some might assume that the Reddit user might simply be someone trolling, that isn’t the case as the OdinBoost Reddit account came out and made a statement accepting that the booster assigned to the customer did indeed lose a bunch of matches. [6]

Order Cancellation

Finally, the Reddit post we mentioned above not only brings to the surface the fact that OdinBoost’s boosters might be losing more matches than they promise but also exposes that the website might have a habit of canceling orders.

According to the same user, he was admittedly heated after the booster lost too many placement matches and messed up his MMR and told the customer support agent to, and we quote, “shut up.” This was apparently enough to warrant a ban from the website for the user, despite his order still being in progress and his placements lost.

The customer then had to send “multiple texts to their side + discord + e-mail” until OdinBoost finally emailed him to refund the order. So, at the end of the day, the person was down 65 LP, lost his placements, and got the same amount of money back that he purchased the boost for.

Customer Reviews

As mentioned above, OdinBoost has a rather high number of reviews on Trustpilot [7], edging close to a total of 2,000. Fortunately, most of the aforementioned reviews are postie and rate OdinBoost’s services as a perfect 5-star.

Most of the 5-star reviews speak of the specific booster the customer was assigned, suggesting the boosters might potentially ask customers to leave a review after every order. At the time of writing, most of the orders speak of League of Legends boosting services specifically, raising the question of how the other services might be going.

As for negative reviews, OdinBoost has a handful of them too. With less than 1% of reviews being one-star ones, one would take one look at the website’s reviews and assume most customers have had a pleasant experience with the website, but one specific 1-star review stands out as raising some red flags.

Posted by reviewer “Kelly R,” the review talks about how OdinBoost deletes bad reviews. After apparently being scammed and then ghosted by the support service members, the former customer called out the website for unethically deleting most of the bad reviews. However, there’s no proof of the matter.
