Counter-Strike 2 [1] has one of the best esports communities in all of gaming, and it’s no surprise as to why. The game series has been around forever, and countless players grew up playing at least some Counter-Strike game. Every time a Valve-managed tournament rolls around, countless fans band together to support their favorite teams.
Now, BLAST Rivals Spring is nearing its conclusion, and Team Vitality and Team Falcons are the two teams to duke it out on the big stage. The stakes are high, and everyone wants to see if Falcons have any chance to take down Team Vitality and finally put an end to its streak.
So, without further ado, here’s what to know about the BLAST Rivals Spring grand final.
Team Vitality and Team Falcons Set for BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 Grand Final
Team Vitality and Team Falcons have secured their spots in the grand final of the BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 tournament, set to take place in Monterrey, Mexico. Both teams delivered dominant performances in the semifinals, showcasing their prowess in Counter-Strike 2. However, it’s only natural that only one team can take home the trophy.
Team Falcons edged out MOUZ with a 16-14 victory on Nuke, followed by a 13-6 win on Dust II. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov led the charge with 46 kills and a +21 kill-death differential, while Emil “Magisk” Reif contributed a +5 (33-28) performance. On the other side, Team Vitality dispatched Team Spirit with a 13-8 win on Mirage and a 13-9 victory on Nuke. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut stood out with 41 kills and a +11 differential, supported by Robin “ropz” Kool’s +5 (31-26) effort.
The tournament began with eight teams divided into two double-elimination groups. Group winners advanced to the semifinals, runners-up to the quarterfinals as high seeds, and third-place teams to the quarterfinals as low seeds. The playoffs are single-elimination, with best-of-three matches leading up to a best-of-five grand final.
