League of Legends: New Ambessa Updates and Release Date

Release Date Speculation

Ambessa’s release timing aligns closely with Riot’s other major events. Though Wild Rift Patch 5.3 begins on October 17th, she will likely not be released on the same day as Heimerdinger. Instead, Ambessa is expected to drop closer to the end of the month, just before Arcane Season 2 begins on November 9th. 

Given that patches in Wild Rift are staggered and last longer than their PC counterparts, this timeframe seems perfect for introducing Ambessa to both platforms.

On the PC side, players can anticipate Ambessa in either Patch 14.21 or 14.22, both scheduled for late October or early November. Patch 14.21 will hit the PBE next week, while Patch 14.22 is likely to drop near the end of October. 

Since Arcane Season 2’s premiere is set for November, it makes sense for Riot to release her during this event, considering the synergy between the game's lore and the animated series.
