Here, we’re going to cover the best Valorant settings for Xbox Series S and X. While it’s understandable that every player is comfortable with different settings, these settings should work as a baseline for the settings players should start with if they want to start getting some insane frags.

So, without further ado, here are the best Valorant settings for Xbox Series S and X. 

General

Luckily, you don’t have to tamper with the general settings too much for that advantage. If we don't mention a setting below, keep it at its default value.

Map:

• Keep Player Centered: Off
• Rotate Map with Player: Off
• Show Map Region Names: Always
• Minimap Zoom: 0.9
• Minimap Size: 1.2

With these settings, you can see the entire minimap rather than whatever’s around you. This new minimap helps keep track of everything the round, including where your teammates are, where enemies are, where smokes are, and more.

Controls

The settings in the Aim tab have no objective best values, so always go for whatever you’re most comfortable with. Start with the following settings and then adjust them as you see fit:

Aim:

• Advance Sensitivity Options: On
• Base Horizontal: 6
• Base Vertical: 6
• Focus Horizontal: 5
• Focus Horizontal: 5
• ADS Horizontal: 4

Movement:

• Walk/Run Threshold: 0.899

By increasing the Walk/Run Threshold, you’ll be less prone to go from walking to running, preventing others from hearing you because you won’t accidentally make noise.

Advance:

• Weapon Swap Behavior: Tap for Melee

What is the best controller preset in Valorant?

Valorant has three different presets to choose from, and none of them is better than the other since it depends on your playstyle.

If you prefer to engage enemies and focus on fragging rather than supporting your team, then the Fighter preset is the way to go. It gives easy movement options with the jump and crouch on the bumpers.

Agents that require ability usages no matter what should go for the Tactician preset because it allows easy accessibility by mapping the ability buttons on the triggers.

Use the Bumper Shooter preset if you prefer long-distance fights with snipers or DRMs.
