Valorant: VCT 2024 Team Capsules - Price, Release Date and Expectations

The current competitive season of Valorant has something special in store for all the fans as Riot Games is set to introduce VCT 2024 Team Capsules. This will be a special bundle, unique to every eligible team that is a part of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2024, allowing them to sell customized skins and items for the players to purchase.

Well, it seems that this might soon turn into reality with various data miners providing early initial details about VCT 2024 Team Capsules.

What's Inside?

The leaks suggest that the VCT 2024 Team Capsules might contain a custom-designed team skin for the Classic pistol, one gun buddy, one player card, and one spray. Custom Classic Pistol - Three Levels, Two Upgrades. Custom Gun Buddy, Custom Player Card, Custom Spray. 

If all Valorant teams competing in the international league are allowed to create a VCT 2024 Team Capsule, then players will have a total of 44 such bundles to choose from, 11 from each region - China, Pacific, EMEA, and Americas.

Release Date

An official release date for the bundle has not yet been announced by Riot Games. But the leaks claim the bundles will be available for purchase on 21st February from Valorant Esports Hub. 

Additionally, Americas Kickoff and VCT 2024 Pacific Kickoff are scheduled to take place from 17th February onwards. So there is always a chance that the VCT 2024 Team Capsules might be released before or on the day these tournaments begin. 

Expected Price

Again, no official information has been released in regards to this nor have any details been leaked by the data miners. However, taking a look at the previously released VCT 2023 LOCK//IN Capsule that was priced at 5,440 VP and consisted of a melee, regional player cards, and a spray, it can be speculated that the upcoming VCT 2024 Team Capsules might cost the same or slightly less.

Fans will have the option to purchase any number of VCT 2024 Team Capsules. However, the number of capsules they choose to purchase will depend on their financial capacity. It is important to note that not all teams will make the same profit from the sale of these capsules. Teams with popular players will sell more capsules and earn more revenue from this venture than less celebrated organizations.
