Hyper Vortex and Team Flash will face off in the VCS Spring 2025 finals

The ON Live VCS Spring 2025 is reaching its thrilling conclusion as the best League of Legends ^[1] teams in Vietnam battle for the championship title. This season has been packed with intense competition, featuring a Swiss Stage, high-stakes playoffs, and the ever-challenging Fearless Draft format. With only two teams remaining, the Grand Finals promise to deliver an unforgettable showdown.

Hyper Vortex has dominated the tournament with an unbeaten run, while Team Flash has clawed its way through the lower bracket, proving its resilience. With a championship title, a major prize pool, and a spot at Finals 2025 on the line, the stage is set for an epic clash. 

Here’s what to know about the VCS Spring 2025 final, including the teams that’ll be in it and what time the match will take place.

Tournament structure and format

The ON Live VCS Spring 2025 features an 8-team Swiss Stage from February 28th to March 9th, with Bo1 matches in Round 1 and Bo3 for all remaining games. The top six teams went to the Playoffs, where the top two seeds secured a bye to the Upper Bracket semifinals, while 3rd to 6th place started in the Upper Bracket quarterfinals.

The playoffs, held from March 20th to 30th, followed a double-elimination format. Matches before the Top 4 were Bo3, while the finals and lower bracket deciders were Bo5. Every game was played under Fearless Draft rules, adding depth to the competition.

Road to the finals

Hyper Vortex entered the Upper Bracket Semi-Finals as a top seed. They defeated Team Flash 2-0, then overwhelmed Saigon Secret 3-1 in the Upper Bracket Final to secure their spot in the Grand Finals.

Meanwhile, Team Flash has had a tough journey. They started in the Upper Bracket quarterfinals, where they beat Saigon Dino 201 before losing to Hyper Vortex. After dropping to the Lower Bracket, they eliminated Hanoi Rookies Esports 2-0, then narrowly defeated Saigon Dino 3-2 in the Lower Bracket semifinal. Finally, they defeated Saigon Secret 3-0 in the Lower Bracket Final, earning their rematch against Hyper Vortex in the finals.

Stakes and rewards

The Grand Finals will determine the VCS Spring 2025 champion. The winning team will receive 75,000,000 VND and secure a spot at Finals 2025. The runner-up will receive 45,000,000 VND.

This showdown will be a fight between dominance and resilience. Hyper Vortex has been unstoppable throughout the competition, while Team Flash had to fight through the lower bracket for redemption.
