The BLAST Open Spring 2025 tournament has been a thrilling ride, showcasing the best Counter-Strike 2 talent in the world. The two will face off in an epic best-of-five showdown for the championship title.

Group Stage Recap

The BLAST open Spring 2025 group stage ran from March 19th to 24th, featuring two double-elimination (GSL) groups of eight teams each. Every match was a best-of-three (Bo3), with the top three teams from every group advancing to the playoffs. Group winners moved directly to the semifinals, while the runner-ups entered the quarterfinals as high seeds, and third-place teams advanced as low seeds.

Playoffs road to the finals

The playoffs, held from March 28th to 30th, followed a single-elimination bracket. Team Vitality won over Team Spirit 2-1 in the semifinals. Vitality won Anubis 13-6 but lost 5-13 on Nuke before clutching on Mirage with a score of 13-0. Meanwhile, MOUZ defeated Eternal Fire in another intense semifinal, winning 11-13 on Nuke and securing Dust 2 10-13 to advance.
