Valorant is finally here with one of its first major patches of 2025 that doesn’t introduce a brand new agent. The topic of this patch is KAY/O, the sentinel who hasn’t been receiving as much love as expected. With the gap between experienced and less experienced players always being so significant, this patch aims to change that by ensuring he has more usability in mid-range fights.
We’re here to go through everything players need to know about Valorant patch 10.06’s agent changes. This includes highlighting all the agent changes KAY/O saw in the patch as well as summarizing the other agent changes players can expect the next time they launch the game and jump into any match.
So, without further ado, here are all the agent changes that the Valorant patch 10.06 [1] brought to the game.
All Kay/O changes in Valorant patch 10.06
KAY/O has always had a high skill ceiling, but the gap between experienced and less experienced players remains significant, especially when using his flash. Player feedback and internal data show that his flash is the hardest to coordinate with among all agents.
To improve usability in mid-range fights while maintaining the effectiveness of well-timed pop flashes, KAY/O’s overhand flash is being adjusted. Additionally, his ultimate’s resurrection duration is being reduced to emphasize teamwork in reviving him.
Flash/Drive:
Flashes that bounce now have a 0.8-second windup before detonating, with distinct audio and visual cues.
If the flash is already set to pop in less than 0.8 seconds, this change won’t extend its duration.
Underhand flash maximum duration increased from 1.25s > 1.5s.
KAY/O’s "flashing" voice line callout range increased from 20m > 50m.
Unequip time reduced from 0.85s > 0.6s.
A minimap indicator has been added for teammates to track the flash.
NULL/cmd (Ultimate):
Ally's resurrection time was reduced from 3s > 1.5s.

Other Valorant patch 10.06 agent changes
KAY/O isn’t the only agent to see changes, as Yoru and Vyse also saw a handful of ability tweaks.
Yoru
Yoru’s Fakeout is proving too valuable for its current cost, so it’s getting a price increase.
Fakeout:
Cost increased from 100 > 200 credits.
Vyse
Vyse has been performing well since her buffs in Patch 9.11, but the extended durations of her abilities allow too much passive value. To encourage more active play, the durations of Razorvines and Shear are being reduced.
