Here's when Valorant Night Market is coming to Episode 9

Here's when Valorant Night Market is coming to Episode 9

Almost every Valorant player anxiously awaits the arrival of the monthly Night Market that only pops up once every Act. Giving players the chance to acquire their favorite skins for discounted prices, some players put off buying any skins until the Night Market arrives, even if the selection is always random.

As you can imagine, the Night Market is about to come back in Episode 9 Act 1. Today, we’re here to go through everything you need to know about the Night Market’s return, including what exactly it is, how much skins typically cost, and when the Valorant Night Market will return in Episode 9 Act 1.

So, if you’re like us and you’re waiting for the Night Market then keep reading because we know when you should expect it.

What is the Valorant Night Market?

Night Market in-game screen showing discounted weapon skins

The Valorant Night Market is a market that pops up in the game once per Act, where players can buy various skins and knives at a huge discount. Players can select the Night Market by clicking on the small card icon on the top right corner of the screen in the main menu.

Players are greeted with six cards when entering the Night Market, with a hidden skin getting unveiled by clicking on each one. Every skin in the market is final, so players cannot reroll or try for a different set of skins unless they have a different account.

The fun part about the Night Market is that it’s random for everyone, so one person could get multiple knives and great skins on their market while the other could get awful skins for weapons no one uses.

How much do skins cost in the Night Market?

As mentioned earlier, skins in the Night Market get heavy discounts, but the amount is random for every account. The discounts range from 10%-49%, and so far, no skin has seen a discount over 49%.

When will the Valorant Night Market arrive in Episode 9?

According to X user @ValorantUpdated, The Night Market will return to Valorant on August 16, 2024, and will be available until August 29, 2024. These timings mean players interested in purchasing skins through the night market will have 13 days to get them unless they want to wait for the next Night Market.

The exact timing of the event depends on the account location and server and will be different for everyone.

What skins will players be able to buy in the Valorant Night Market?

While players can purchase the Select Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Premium Edition skins in the Valorant Night Market, they can’t get the Ultra and Exclusive tier skins. Many skins available in the Night Market arrive 2 Acts after their introduction, so the upcoming shop will include the Holomoku and Aemondir skins for players to purchase if they’re lucky. Also, knives that cost over 3,550 VP are usually unavailable in the Night Market.

Every player receives at least a melee weapon or a Premium skin, and it’s rare to see someone get more than two skins for the same gun. Popular skin sets in the Night Market include Reaver, Oni, Prime, and Gaia’s Vengeance.
