A Site

Knowing what smokes to use when Pushing A site is essential because opponents can come from 3 locations. A Link is the most important smoke Clove can put down because it effectively cuts off any defender trying to rotate from Mid. Then, the player can smoke A Flowers or A Secret. Choosing any of them depends on where the defenders are pushing from.

B Site

When pushing B Site, there are only two places where the real threats can emerge from. The two areas that Clove should smoke are B Hall and B Tower. Smoking these two spots blocks off close angles that defenders might be holding while simultaneously providing cover for the attacking team. 

These smokes will help if attackers push in from Mid as well since the two areas are common spots for Defenders to hide in.

Mid

The areas players should smoke in when attacking Mid depend on whether they are pushing A or B. If the attacking team is going for a B push, it is better to block A Art so the attackers can focus on entering B link. On the other hand, if the attackers are trying to push A, then smoke off Mid Doors and Mid Connector. Most of the smokes a Defender Clove will use in Pearl is as straightforward as an Attack one, if not simpler.

A Site

The smoke a defending Clove should use is the one that blocks off A Main. A Main is the primary and most used route attackers use, so if a Clove hears any footsteps, they should smoke the area off. Try using a single smoke there and then putting a second one when the first one disappears so that the area is blocked off for longer.

Smoking on top of the small structure in the center of the Site can provide players with a one-way line of sight towards A Main if Defenders are hiding in A Secret, providing free kills.

B Site
