After weeks of anticipation and cryptic teasers, Riot Games has officially introduced Tejo, the latest initiatoragent in Valorant. Tejo hails from Colombia, with his design inspired by the traditional Colombian game "Tejo", which involves throwing discs at explosive-filled targets. Staying true to his origins, Tejo’s character revolves around precision, firepower, and tactical explosives.
Tejo’s abilities include Guided Salvo, a missile strike targeting specific areas; Stealth Drone, which suppresses and reveals enemies; Special Delivery, a concussive sticky grenade; and Armageddon, his ultimate airstrike ability. His kit focuses on area control, disruption, and initiating fights, offering players a fresh way to dominate in both attack and defense.
So, without further delay, let’s examine each of these individual abilities and their impact on the battlefield.
Signature Ability: Guided Salvo
Tejo’s signature ability is called Guided Salvo, and like other signature abilities in Valorant, it’s available for free each round. When activated, you open a tactical map interface similar to Brimstone[1]’s smokes, allowing you to select up to two points on the map.
Upon firing, Tejo launches damage-dealing missiles that target the selected locations. Based on gameplay clips, the missiles deliver three pulses of damage, similar to a KAY/O[2] grenade, but with a larger deployment range. The exact damage values remain unclear, but the ability is designed to disrupt enemy positions and deny key areas during pushes or retakes.
C Ability: Stealth Drone
Tejo’s C ability, Stealth Drone, equips a maneuverable drone similar to Skye’s Trailblazer. However, this drone has a unique feature—it appears to be partially invisible up to a certain distance. Players can guide the drone around the map, and at the end of its range, it fires a pulse that both suppresses and reveals enemies within a specific radius.
The suppression effect likely requires direct line of sight and may not penetrate walls. The reveal effect also seems limited to enemies within the drone’s final pulse radius, making it a tactical tool for scouting and initiating engagements.

Q Ability: Special Delivery
Tejo’s Q ability, Special Delivery, is a sticky grenade that concusses enemies caught in its blast. Upon activation, the grenade sticks to the first surface it hits and explodes shortly after, stunning nearby enemies.
Additionally, players can use an alt fire mode (right-click) to launch the grenade with a single bounce, offering greater flexibility in how it’s deployed. This makes Special Delivery ideal for clearing tight corners or setting up quick concussive traps during fights.
Ultimate Ability: Armageddon
Tejo’s ultimate, named Armageddon, costs eight points and functions similarly to Brimstone’s Orbital Strike. Upon activation, players open a tactical map and select a target area for an airstrike.
When deployed, the strike creates a massive area of effect, forcing enemies to evacuate or risk taking significant damage. While exact damage values are unknown, the visual effect resembles Breach’s ultimate, but instead of stunning enemies, it appears to deal direct damage over a large area. This makes Armageddon a powerful tool for site control and post-plant situations.
Tejo’s abilities reveal an exciting new initiator who focuses on explosives, area control, and tactical engagement. With a versatile kit that includes damage-dealing missiles, a stealthy drone, concussive grenades, and a devastating airstrike, Tejo is poised to become a key agent for both offense and defense.
While the exact damage values of his abilities remain unclear, his potential for disruption and control makes him a strong pick for coordinated team play.
