As expected, Valve ensures Dota 2 remains relevant through large-scale tournaments where fans can root for their favorite teams and players. Since 2024 is coming to a close, we figured it might be a good idea to go through all of the tournaments that have currently been announced for 2025. This way, fans can mark their calendars and clear their schedules to ensure they don’t miss out on their favorite teams competing for glory.

Here’s every Dota 2 tournament happening in 2025

Dota 2 has been around for over a decade, with multiple competitions and tournaments happening throughout the game’s life. 2025 is no different, with numerous contests happening, including The International, which is the highest tier for professional Dota 2. These smaller tournaments will be essential for newer teams and players who want to claim the Aegis of Champions. Here is every confirmed Dota 2 tournament happening in 2025.

FISSURE x BetBoom Tournament #1

The two companies, FISSURE Studio and Betboom announced in May 2024 that they will hold multiple tier-1 Dota 2 tournaments in 2025. The first one will start on January 24, 2025, and end on February 2, 2025. This competition will be online, and fans can watch it through FISSURE’s official streaming platforms on Twitch and YouTube.

BLAST Tournament #1

The esports entertainment company Blast revealed plans to enter the professional Dota 2 and shared an entire schedule of events players should look out for. The first Blast competition will take place from February 4, 2025, to February 9, 2025, and players can tune into them by going to Blast.tv ^[1]. More details regarding the event are yet to come.

DreamLeague Season 25

DreamLeague Season 25 is an online Dota 2 tournament organized by ESL Gaming. It’s a tier 1 competition, and it will take place from February 16, 2025, to March 2, 2025. Players will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000.

PGL Tournament #1

In early 2024, PGL announced that they are having a three-year Dota 2 tournament Marathon. From those multiple tournaments, the first one of 2025 will begin on March 6, 2025, and end on March 15, 2025, with a prize pool of $1,000,000.

FISSURE x BetBoom Tournament #2 – March 18 to 27

The second FISSURE x BetBoom tournament will take place from March 18, 2025, to March 27, 2025. Players can watch it in the same place as the first competition.

PGL Tournament #1

The first PGL tournament for Dota 2 will happen from March 6, 2025, to March 15, 2025. PGL will reveal more information about the contest as the competition approaches.

ESL One Europe

The ESL One Europe will take place in April 2025, but the exact period is yet to be revealed. Unlike the DreamLeague championships, this one will be a LAN tournament.

PGL Tournament #2

The second Dota 2 PGL tournament will last from April 18, 2025, to April 27, 2025.

BLAST Tournament #2

The second Blast tournament will run from May 6, 2025, to May 6, 2025. Like the other Blast tournaments, fans will most likely be able to watch the stream on Blast.tv.

DreamLeague Season 26

Similar to DreamLeague Season 25, this one will be an online tournament with a prize pool of $1,000,000. This season will occur from May 12, 2025, to May 25, 2025.

FISSURE x BetBoom Tournament #3

FISSURE and BetBoom’s third tournament of 2025 will begin on August 1, 2025, and end on August 10, 2024. Like FISSURE’s previous competitions, players can watch streams of the third contest on the company’s official streaming accounts.

BLAST Tournament #3

From October 14, 2025, to October 19, 2025,  fans can watch the entirety of the third Blast tournament of the year. Similar to previous Blast competitions, players can tune in on Blast.tv.

FISSURE x BetBoom Tournament #4 – October 24 to November 2

The second last FISSURE x BetBoom tournament of 2025 will last from October 24, 2025, to November 2, 2025. It will likely be streamed in the accounts as the previous tournaments by the company.

DreamLeague Season 27 – November 3 to 11

Just like previous DreamLeague competitions, season 27 is an online tournament with the same prize pool of $1,000,000. Season 27 of DreamLeague will begin on November 3, 2024, and end on November 11, 2024.

PGL Tournament #3

The third PGL tournament will run from November 7, 2025, to November 16, 2025.

BLAST Tournament #4

Near the end of the year, Blast will have its fourth tournament of 2025, which will take place from November 25, 2025, to November 30, 2025. Similar to the other Blast competitions, fans can watch the stream on Blast.tv.

ESL One Asia – December

ESL One Asia will take place in December 2025, but the exact date is unknown. It will be a LAN tournament.

FISSURE x BetBoom Tournament #5

The final tournament of 2025 will also be a FISSURE x BetBoom competition. This contest will run from December 16, 2025, to December 22, 2025.
