League of Legends getting new ARAM: Mayhem mode

League of Legends is an ever-evolving game, bringing multiple limited-time modes for players to enjoy with friends or with random players. Sometimes, Riot Games opts to mix together multiple modes for an entirely unique experience.

What is ARAM: Mayhem in League of Legends?

ARAM: Mayhem is a new mode that takes the fast and chaotic fun of ARAM and adds the Augments system from Arena, along with several new ones made just for this mode. Players will be able to choose between four and five Augments during a match, changing how their champions play in exciting ways. A support champion could suddenly become a strong damage dealer, while a tank could turn nearly unbreakable.

The developers confirmed that some Augments from Arena will return, and more than forty new ones are being added to fit the 5v5 setup. To keep the game fair, only Augments that activate under certain conditions will appear, rather than constant effects.

When will ARAM: Mayhem come to League of Legends?

Riot Games confirmed that ARAM: Mayhem will come to League of Legends on October 22, 2025. The regular ARAM mode will stay available, and Mayhem will have its own separate queue, giving players the choice between the classic experience or this new mode that has more than just a few twists.
