Valorant UE5 upgrade space requirement revealed

According to an official Riot Games FAQ page, players should expect to reserve more than 30 GB of storage space when Valorant’s Unreal Engine 5 update drops. This doesn’t mean the update will add 30 GB to the base storage requirement, as the FAQ also states that the overall download will actually be decreased compared to what it is now.

For context, players require at least 60 GB if they want to download and play Valorant before the Unreal Engine 5 update. Decreasing this suggests that the overall download may be around the 30 GB mark. This also suggests that it may be a more viable option for some players to completely uninstall and then reinstall Valorant so they don’t have to make any space in their storage.

When will Valorant’s Unreal Engine 5 upgrade drop?
