Alan Walker fades into Rocket League

What’s coming in the new Alan Walker event in Rocket League

Psynonix reveals that Rocket League is collaborating with the popular musician Alan Walker to introduce various items in the game alongside some fun perks for content creators. These introductions include new Player Anthems as part of the game’s in-game music festival, Neon Nights.

The event will run from August 7, 2024, at 9 AM PT to August 21, 2024, at 6 PM PT.

Neon Nights Challenges

Aside from musical additions, Rocket League players can earn rewards by completing numerous challenges. While most challenges that are a part of the Neon Nights festival are simple, like getting a specific number of goals, others might be a bit difficult with harsher requirements. 

Golden Rewards will be called Golden Records as part of this event, and players can obtain them by playing 15 online matches. Players cannot get more than 5 Golden Records, so they must play a total of 75 games to get every record. Players can open these Golden Records in their inventory to receive numerous cosmetics. 

Players can earn 20,000 XP by playing ten online matches, and this challenge is repeatable. So, players can get large amounts of XP to level up their accounts by constantly playing online.

Alan Walker Anthem Bundle

Players can buy the Alan Walker Anthem Bundle in the Rocket League shop. It costs 900 credits and consists of three Player anthems. Here’s a list of each and how much they cost individually:

• Lifeline (feat. Lova) Player Anthem - 300 Credits
• Club Leclerc (Racers Mix) Player Anthem - 300 Credits
• Beautiful Nightmare (feat. bludnymph) Player Anthem - 300 Credits

Alan Walker Car Bundle

Fans of the game can purchase a bundle that contains various decals and a new car body related to the musician. The Jager 619 Alan Walker Bundle features the following cosmetics:

Content creator perks

Psyonix shares that content creators can host VOD content with Alan Walker Player Anthems on YouTube and not face any takedown notices or delistings from August 7, 2024, at 9 AM PT to July 31, 2029.

Psyonix also reveals some notes for content creators who want to use Alan Walker Player Anthems in their YouTube videos:

• When uploading the content to YouTube, be sure to upload it as Unlisted or Public. If you upload the video as Private, it's possible you could receive a monetization claim on your video.
• For uploading the content on other platforms, refer to the channel’s platform policies for tips on how to avoid copyright strikes.

As for Twitch streamers, Psyonix says that they should disable VODs/clips when streaming the content.
