Everything to know about the upcoming Valorant x Arcane skins

Everything to know about the upcoming Valorant x Arcane skins

Valorant continues to add excellent new skins, and that’s one of the biggest reasons the game is still popular. After the success of skins like the Mystbloom and similar bundles, Riot is out with another bundle. The Singularity 2.0 bundle might seem very familiar to a lot of players, but those who weren’t able to get their hands on it before will get the chance to do so now.

Today, we’re here to go through all of the new Valorant skins we know are on the way. This includes the Singularity 2.0 skin bundle that’s on the way as well as the Arcane skins that were recently leaked. In addition to the expected dates, we’ll also go through everything players can expect to see in both of the bundles.

So, without further ado, here’s everything to know about the Valorant x Arcane and Singularity 2.0 bundles.

What skin bundles are coming to Valorant?

Riot Games is adding two different skin bundles to Valorant. One of them is cosmetics based on Arcane, the popular League of Legends show, to commemorate the start of season 2. X user ValorINTEL claims that the official Valorant Weibo account has uploaded a picture depicting an Arcane bundle in the works. This release would be similar to the previous Arcane bundle that came out for Valorant when season 1 of the show dropped.

The other bundle coming to Valorant is the Singularity 2.0, announced on September 20, 2024, on official Valorant social media accounts. The first Singularity bundle was popular among the Valorant community, having skins for weapons like the Sheriff, Phantom, and Spectre. Now, it’s getting a new version with the same style but for different weapons, similar to what Riot did with the Glitchpop 2.0 bundle.

What weapon skins are in the Arcane bundle?

While it’s not known what skins players will get in the upcoming bundle, players can expect something similar to the Arcane bundle that came out when the 1st season of the show launched. The first bundle included a Sheriff's skin, gun buddy, title, player card, and spray.

Since the second season of Arcane seems to have a much darker tone, it’s fair to expect that the cosmetics for it will be so as well. There’s also a good chance that some skins from the original bundle might return to the game, so players who missed out on it have another opportunity to obtain it.

What weapon skins are in the Singularity 2.0 bundle?

The Singularity 2.0 bundle has the same theme as the previous version, where each cosmetic has a futuristic and rocky design. The base variant of the Singularity 2.0 skins will be black with purple and light blue glowing from the inside of the skin. The skins in the bundle will have multiple color variants, such as red, blue, yellow, and purple.

As for what weapons will be in the Singularity 2.0 bundle, players can obtain a butterfly melee knight, a Ghost, and a Vandal skin. Similar to other premium skins, each cosmetic in this bundle will have upgradable tiers that will add visual and sound effects, and it will also have a unique finisher animation and kill icon.

Here are the Singularity 2.0 upgrade level tiers:

How much will the Singularity 2.0 and the Arcane bundle cost?

While Riot hasn’t shared any information about the price of either bundle, there’s a good idea of how much both would cost based on previous bundles. The Arcane Collectors Bundle was 2380 VP, about $20 in real-world currency. If the amount of things in the Arcane bundle increases or Riot decides to add effects, the price could be higher.

The Singularity 2.0 bundle is like the original collection and be in the Exclusive tier. Players might have to pay 8700 VP to purchase the bundle for that tier, meaning it would cost around $85 to get every weapon skin. It could be lower since the new skin line only has cosmetics for three weapons. As for individual prices, the Vandal and Ghost skins would probably cost around 2,175 VP, and the melee weapon around 5,000 VP.

It’s worth noting that these prices are speculative and can change when the bundles are released.

When are the Singularity 2.0 and Arcane bundles releasing?

The Singularity 2.0 launched alongside patch 9.06.

The release date for the new Arcane bundle is unknown, but fans predict that the skin line might be out on Patch 9.09, which is set to release on November 5. The first episode of Arcane Season 2 will launch on November 9, so it’s fair to assume that the bundle will be released around November 7 to commemorate its launch.

FAQs

Do skins help you play better?

While some Valorant skins give different visual and sound queues, that doesn’t mean they help players play better. Riot prides itself on ensuring that the games are never pay-to-win, which is why buying skin will likely never give you a competitive advantage unless the skin has a bug or glitch that can be exploited.

Those who want to actually play better can spend their money on a Valorant boost from Eloking instead. After all, this ensures the player rises through the ranks and gets matches up against and with higher-level players.
