LoL Player Days: Everything You Need to Know

Riot Games is kicking off League of Legends Player Days, a community-centered celebration to recognize the dedication, creativity, and passion of its global player base. In honor of the game’s incredible 15-year journey, Riot is offering special rewards, unique events, and exclusive skins for players. Here’s everything you need to know about the event and what you can expect during this 10-day celebration.

LoL Player Days will run from October 9 to October 28, 2024. The event includes ten days of rewards, unlockable Legacy skins, a Mythic skin, and fan-themed accessories. Players can complete missions to earn these rewards, and the celebration also features three special themed days focusing on creativity, music, and esports.

Celebrating 15 Years of League Culture

Since League of Legends first launched, it has grown into more than just a game—it has become a global cultural phenomenon. Over the past 15 years, the League community has created an experience that goes beyond the Rift. 

From competitive esports to cosplaying and fan art, players have shared their love for the game in diverse and exciting ways. To honor this, Riot Games has dedicated this October to celebrating the creativity, stories, and dedication of League players worldwide.

Missions and Rewards 

Throughout LoL Player Days, players can unlock rewards by completing simple missions. All you need to do is play one game each day or finish 10 games at once by the event’s end. The rewards include a limited-time Mythic skin, Mythic Essence, and other fan-themed accessories. 

Players have until October 28 to claim all these goodies, which include exclusive items such as Legacy skins that have been unlocked from the vault.

To highlight different aspects of the League community, Riot Games has introduced three unique themed days during LoL Player Days. Each day focuses on celebrating a different part of what makes League special.

Creative Day

On Creative Day, League of Legends will celebrate the artistry and imagination that have brought the game to life. Whether through fan art, cosplaying, or digital creations, the community’s creativity will be honored. Riot will even offer a special tool to help players create their next masterpiece, with updates shared through their official social media accounts.

Music Day

Music Day is all about the soundtracks and beats that make the League experience so immersive. Riot Games has collaborated with community musicians to curate the perfect Player Days mix. In addition, there’s a bonus for musicians in the community, with more details to be announced during the event.

Esports Day

Esports Day will celebrate the competitive spirit of the game. From loyal fans who’ve supported League of Legends esports for years to new viewers hyped by recent events, everyone is invited to join the celebration. Riot will also share resources to help fans express their love for the competitive side of League, particularly Worlds 2024.

Superfan Skins and Charity Contributions

As part of the event, Riot Games is releasing a special set of skins to celebrate different parts of the League community. Players can unlock or purchase the following Superfan skins during the event:

• Music Fan Gragas
• Esports Fan Trundle
• Ann-Sivir-sary (available through event mission completion)

Additionally, players can purchase the Gamer Fan Poro Ward. For every skin or ward purchased between October 9 and October 28, Riot will donate 100% of the proceeds, along with a 3x match, to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. This is an excellent opportunity for players to show their support for the community while contributing to a good cause.
