Like every long-term successful game, League of Legends [1] uses temporary limited-time game modes to ensure its extremely large and diverse player base has a reason to keep coming back. While modes like URF and Arena are more popular because they’ve been playable multiple times, Riot Games is out with a new mode called Brawl.
Since the League of Legends Brawl mode is significantly different than most other modes, the meta is also different. In particular, the best champions to use in Brawl mode are Naafiri, Zed, Jhin, Lulu, Gwen, Pyke, Ahri, Viktor, Darius, and Jinx. Naturally, we’ll highlight what makes them so good.
So, without further ado, here are the top 10 champions to use in the League of Legends Brawl mode if you want to win. Of course, if you don’t know how to play any champion we mentioned, you can always hire a professional League of Legends coach from Eloking to show you the way. Just don’t forget to use the code “BoostToday” so you don’t miss out on the 20% discount.
10: Naafiri
Naafiri’s kit revolves around her pack, which is incredible in chaotic fights. Her ability to summon dogs and command them through her passive allows her to overwhelm opponents and create pressure in small areas. Her W lets her dash to targets, while E initiates and retreats with a damaging slash. Her ultimate strengthens her pack’s aggression, providing movement speed and healing on takedowns, perfect for finishing off retreating enemies.
In Brawl’s faster-paced environment, Naafiri’s ability to pressure opponents with numbers and sustain through fights makes her a powerful threat. Her dogs can draw enemy focus, indirectly protecting the team’s minions on the way to the portal. However, she’s reliant on coordinated attacks, especially against team compositions with high AoE.
9: Zed
Zed’s shadow mechanics allow him to burst squishies and escape. His pokes with Q and AoE with E let him harass enemies while pushing waves. His R guarantees explosive single-target picks, essential for picking off supports or ADCs.
Although Zed is excellent at assassinations, Brawl will have huge teamfights and comeback potentials, which can limit his impact. Focused CC or shielding champions like Leona can stop him, but his mobility and split-second plays make him a high-risk, high-reward pick for skilled players.

8: Jhin
Jhin’s long-range attacks are incredible in Brawl. His R can snipe low-health enemies from afar to secure eliminations or deal heavy damage. He places traps with his E ability that can allow him to control choke points and set up his W for a root to prevent opponents from moving.
Although he doesn’t have mobility compared to other ADCs, his utility and pick potential can be invaluable to the team. His attack speed prevents him from pushing waves, but good trap placement and ultimates can help win teamfights. The best thing is that, because of Brawl’s small map, enemies won’t have anywhere to run when Jhin uses his ult, letting him slow and damage enemies at will, especially during team fights, where every factor counts.
7: Lulu
Lulu’s toolkit disrupts assassins and empowers allies. W can polymorph threats, while her E can shield teammates or damage opponents. R grants health and increases a teammate’s size to keep them alive and win teamfights. Her passive provides bonus damage to ally attacks, helping characters like Jhin clear waves.
Lulu’s peel can allow hyper-carries like Jinx to dominate the match, especially in a mode where getting eliminations and CS is essential to winning. However, she doesn’t have a lot of damage, so she’s reliant on good teammates to capitalize on her assistance.
6: Gwen
Gwen’s W creates a safety zone for her that makes her untargetable to enemies not around her, which is ideal for dodging opponent abilities during teamfights and allows her to punish wandering opponents. Her Q can delete tanky opponents, while E enhances her auto attacks and gives her mobility. Gwen’s ultimate slows down opponents while damaging them, perfect for chasing them down.
Her sustainability and damage make her a versatile duelist. While she lacks CC besides the slows from her ultimate, her immunity and damage let her frontline for her team, escorting minions or diving teams. There’s also the fact that her abilities will ensure long-range champions won’t get the chance to attack her, as she snips away at the enemy’s frontline.
5: Pyke
Pyke’s ultimate is an execute that resets on kills, allows him to chain multiple eliminations, and deal immense damage to the enemy team’s health. His W makes him invisible to enemies, while his Q can pull enemies into danger, which is a deadly combo for any opponent badly positioned. E allows him to stun multiple enemies in a short line, giving his team time to deal damage.
His ultimate’s gold-sharing passive accelerates the team’s power spikes, essential in Brawl’s economy. The only issue is that he’s squishy, so players must be precise with their engagement and know who to hook. One of the biggest issues in regular modes is that Pyke hooks enemies but doesn’t have the support he needs. That likely won’t be the case in this mode.
4: Ahri
Ahri’s E charms enemies to isolate them for burst combos, while her ultimate lets her dash away from them or into them to engage. Her Q ability deals immense damage to grouped-up enemies and provides waveclear.
Her mobility and pick potential are essential for fights. In Brawl’s small map, she can roam between fights to secure kills on any unsuspecting opponents. Her adaptability makes her a problem, but she struggles against tanky team compositions. The best thing about her kit is that her E can charm enemies and force them to come towards her, while her allies can make quick work of that enemy.
3: Viktor
Viktor excels in Brawl due to his ability to control space and deal sustained area-of-effect damage. His Gravity Field creates zones that slow and stun enemies, disrupting their positioning in the confined Bandle City arena. Death Ray allows him to poke and damage multiple opponents from a distance, while Chaos Storm adds continuous pressure by following and damaging enemies over time. These abilities enable Viktor to dictate the flow of combat, making him a formidable presence in team skirmishes.
In Brawl's fast-paced environment, Viktor's capacity to control zones and apply consistent damage makes him a valuable asset. His Gravity Field can interrupt enemy advances, providing opportunities for his team to capitalize. However, Viktor's lack of mobility requires careful positioning to avoid being caught out. With strategic play, Viktor can leverage his abilities to dominate the battlefield and lead his team to victory.
2: Darius
Darius excels in clustered teamfights. Players can stack his passive on multiple enemies to deal incredible damage. Mixing it with his ultimate, which resets on kills, gives him the potential to get a team wipe. Q heals him while damaging groups of enemies, and E can pull them toward his team or anyone escaping.
His tankiness and AoE make him an incredible frontline. In a mode where eliminations and killed minions reduce the enemy’s health, Darius’s ability to deal immense damage and chain ultimates can decide matches.
1: Jinx
Jinx’s rockets clear waves and teams, making it an excellent tool in the mode. Her passive is triggered whenever she gets a kill or an assist within 3 seconds of damaging an opponent, which lets her snowball fights with increased movement and attack speed. Her W pokes opponents and slows them down while E roots them for an easy kill. Jinx’s ultimate is a global rocket, so she can execute anyone retreating, even if they’re on the other side of the map.
Her hyper-carry potential and waveclear work perfectly with Brawl’s objectives. Jinx’s kit ensures she’s always contributing to reducing the enemy team’s health, making her the best champion for Brawl.
FAQs
When will the League of Legends Brawl Mode go away?
As it is with most limited-time modes, the League of Legends Brawl mode is slated to be around for six weeks. This means, since the mode came out on May 14, 2025, it’ll go away near the start of July, when the second split of the ongoing League of Legends 2025 Season 2 will kick off.
What other champions are good in the LoL Brawl mode?
A handful of champions are excellent in the League of Legends Brawl mode, depending on how their abilities are utilized. For example, Blitzcrank may be an excellent pick thanks to his AoE ult, silencing everyone near him. This can let the team’s heavy-hitters use their abilities to make quick work of everyone in team fights.
Alternatively, there’s also Aurelion Sol’s ultimate ability, which attacks everyone in a large radius. Since the Brawl map is rather small, the champion's ability will be very likely to hit. The same applies to Ziggs and his ult, though on a smaller scale.
