Marvel Rivals Valentine’s Day update revealed

Marvel Rivals ^[1] is going strong into February 2025, and players worldwide expect the game to come out with new characters and skins soon. While Human Torch and The Thing are on the horizon, players have the chance to enjoy one more event before that to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

NetEase is bringing new content and fixes to Marvel Rivals with the 20250215 patch, which launches February 13, 2025, at 9 AM UTC. The update introduces new skins, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.

Here’s everything to know about the new update and the Valentine’s Day additions to the game.

New Marvel Rivals costumes

The update’s highlight is the 60th Wedding Anniversary Combo Bundle that features Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman. These skins celebrate the Marvel couple and will be available for purchase on February 14, 2025, at 2 AM UTC.
The bundle will cost players 2,800 Units, and it includes:

• Invisible Woman – The Life Fantastic (Legendary)
• Mr. Fantastic – The Life Fantastic (Legendary)
• MVP animation
• Two nameplates
• Two sprays
• Two emotes

Fans can buy both skins separately for 2,200 Units, and every individual purchase includes an MVP animation, nameplate, spray, and an emote.

Bug fixes

The Valentine’s Day update also brings a handful of bug fixes and gameplay changes that make the game smoother for players.

General

• Fixed an issue where high-end computers with Bazzite (Linux) used low-quality UI resources.

Maps and Gameplay

• The KDA tab will correctly update if KOs occur during overtime.
• Fixed an off-target Yggdrasill Path cart icon in the Convoy tutorial.
• Various map collision issues have been resolved to prevent users from getting stuck or clipping through walls.

Hero fixes

• Doctor Strange’s portal won’t be interrupted if an allied Loki transforms into him.
• Jeff the Land Shark’s bubbles won’t bypass enemy healing gates into spawn rooms.
• Iron Man’s arm models won’t disappear after activating Armor Overdrive.
• Hulk and Wolverine had a bug where Logan’s Berserk Claw Strike could trigger during Feral Leap because of the Team-Up ability.

Console

• Fixed PlayStation controller drift issues in certain situations.

Upcoming content

The second half of Season 1 is coming soon with new heroes, a new map, and balance adjustments. More details about the second half of Season 1 will be revealed in upcoming updates.
