Tricked Esport announces [1] its return to competitive Counter-Strike with a new Danish CS2 Roster. The comeback comes after a two-year hiatus and is backed by Legendary Gaming Group, co-founded by former Danish footballer Nicklas Bendtner and Peter Ankerson.
The new CS2 team is led by the Danish player, Valdemar ‘vale’ Vangså, someone who has experience competing on international stages with teams like OG and North. The roster includes Magnus ‘Nodios‘ Olsen, Jonas ‘Queenix‘ Dideriksen, Jason ‘salazar‘ Salazar, and Jamie ‘leakz‘ Jensen. Nodios used to play for Tricked Esport’s Counter-Strike roster between 2022 and 2023. The new team will be coached by Allan ‘Rejin‘ Petersen.
The announcement was made in a video uploaded on Tricked Esport’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. Information regarding the team’s upcoming tournament appearances haven’t been shared yet.

Who are Legendary Gaming Group and Tricked Esport?
Tricked Esport was founded in 2012 and has competitively participated in numerous esports titles like Counter-Strike, League of Legends, FIFA (EA FC), Fortnite, and Hearthstone. A big achievement for the organization is winning the Northern LoL Championship in Summer 2021. However, financial issues led to Tricked shutting down operations in April 2023 after the withdrawal of RightBridge Ventures.
Tricked Esport’s return is supported by businessman Lars Seier Christensen, a former investor in the organization through Legendary Gaming Group. The investment company also supports Team Singularity and Fyra SlimSport. Financial details regarding Tricked Esport’s acquisition haven't been shared.
Fans met Tricked Esport’s new CS2 team at Copenhagen Gaming Week at Bella Center on Friday, February 14. Legendary Gaming Group hosted a panel discussion on Center Stage with Nicklas Bendtner, Peter Ankersen, and Valde from 2 PM to 3 PM CET on the same day.
Tricked Esport’s return comes after numerous other organizations rejoined the Counter-Strike professional scene like Ghost Gaming, which recently announced a women’s roster led by Emmalee ‘EMUHLEET’ Garrido.
