Teamfight Tactics is on a role when it comes to adding new content through updates and patches. It seems the developer isn’t over with all the new content yet, as it has announced a brand-new PvE mode coming to Teamfight Tactics called Tocker’s Trial.
Today, we’re here to go through everything you need to know about Teamfight Tactic’s new upcoming game mode, Tocker’s Trial. This includes what players can expect to see in the mode and what date it’ll come to the game. Naturally, we’ll also highlight when the mode will go away to ensure players know how long they have to finish it.
So without further ado, here’s everything to know about the PvE mode coming to Teamfight Tactics.
What is Tocker’s Trial?
Tocker’s Trial is a new PvE mode coming to Teamfight Tactics in Patch 14.17. Riot Games has experimented with numerous PvE challenges and traits throughout TFT in the form of sets, which includes the Threats of the Monsters Attack! Game mode. Unlike other TFT game modes, Tocker’s Trial will fully be PvE and won’t include any PvP elements.
What can players expect in Tocker’s Trial?
With Tocker’s Trial releasing soon, Riot listed a bunch of traits that players can expect to see in Tocker’s Trial, such as:
Magic n’ Mayhem at the Core: Players can use the entire roster of champions and Augments from Set 12, which allows them to earn gold and level up like in regular TFT games. The only difference is that there won’t be any charms in the new game mode.
30 Rounds, 6 Bosses, 3 Lives: Tocker’s Trial is easy initially but gets more challenging as the game progresses. Players will fight against new bosses in the game, but the twist is that they have a life counter instead of HP, so if someone dies three times, it’s game over, and it's time to restart.
Solo Queue and No Timers: Players can’t queue up with others in this game, so it’s just them versus the game. Luckily, the mode won’t have any timers, allowing people to strategize at their own pace before every round.
Chaos Mode: After conquering the Normal mode, players who want an extra challenge can participate in the Chaos Mode. According to Riot, the mode will be like the name suggests, but details regarding what to expect will be left for players to explore.
Rack Up a High Score & Share Your Results!: Players will receive points after each round based on numerous factors like their performance. They can show off their scores to friends or challenge themselves and shoot for a high score.

When will Tocker’s Trial start and end?
The upcoming TFT Challenge will begin on August 27, 2024, with patch 14.17 and end on September 24, 2024, with patch 14.19.
Since Tocker’s Trial is a new and experimental experience for TFT players, Riot asks players to expect bugs and balancing issues when trying this experiment.
