Teamifight Tactics continues to introduce new features for players to enjoy. These features include new sets which bring an entire haul of new content. One of the many new types of content added to Teamfight Tactics includes charms that show up in shops every round to help players turn the tides of battle in their favor.
Today, we’re here to go through everything players need to know about charms in Teamfight Tactics. In addition to highlighting what charms are in the game, we’ll also give our picks for the five best charms you should pick if you want a competitive advantage against the enemy.
So, without any more delay, here are our picks for the five best charms in set 12.
What are the Top 5 best charms in TFT Set 12?
With over 100 charms in TFT Set 12, it’s hard to know which one to pick. Luckily, this list compiles the five best charms to go for during matches.
5: Leadership
The Leadership charm lets a unit in a team gain 300 health, which makes them very tanky and great for the frontlines. The issue is that players can't control which unit receives health from this Charm, so if the bonus goes to a unit that constantly takes damage instead of a carry or tank, it decreases the value the Charm provides to the player.
This limitation is the only thing holding it back, and it’s expensive, costing five gold to purchase.
4: Assembly
Assembly is one of the best charms in the game, and players should go for it the moment they see it in the store. What Assembly does is that it lets people gain a copy of every 1-cost champion, allowing them to upgrade 1-cost on their board if they have any, or letting them receive missing 1-cost if they’re looking for specific traits they need for their Witchcraft board.
Although Assembly may seem expensive with its ten gold price tag, people can use the Charm to get 14 1-cost units. Players can sell these 14 1-cost units for four gold at any point of the game, so they’re a good way to get money when it’s time to complete a team composition or fix the player’s economy.
3: Conjure Artifact
This is the most expensive Charm in the list as it costs 18 gold, but it gives the player’s board additional power by giving them an Artifact anvil. It’s a good idea to go for Conjure Artifact when the player has multiple strong units without items or has two items without the final slot filled.
2: Major Mimicry
Major Mimicry is similar to Assembly since they cost the same and feature some duplication. This Charm is much stronger because it drops a Champion Duplicator, allowing players to regain the total amount spent when creating 2-star 5-cost, or 3-star 4-cost champions.
The only downside is that it means sacrificing a combat Charm to go for this instead.
1: Major Gambit
Even though it may seem with its low price tag of two gold, Major Gambit is easily the best Charm in the entire game. What the Charm does is drop ten gold when a player wins their next combat, so people who get this are the ones who are confident in winning and getting the payout.
Naturally, those who don't have confidence in their current troops won't find much benefit from this charm. However, the best time to use this specific charm is when you already have a competitive advantage against the enemy team and want to snowball it into an absolute victory for yourself.

FAQs
What are charms in TFT?
Charms are new items introduced in TFT Set 12. They’re an item that shows up in shops every other round and are spells that players can use once that cost different amounts of gold. Only weak charms are purchasable in earlier stages of the game, but powerful ones become available as the match progresses.
Charms can add various effects to the game. Although most Charms are combat-based, others affect other factors, such as the player's economy.
