Valorant Champions 2026 location revealed

Valorant’s esports scene continues to attract millions of eyes worldwide. Countless fans want to tune in to live events, whether in person or through a screen, to support their favorite teams and professional players.

While the many VCTs and Masters that take place throughout the year are impressive, no Valorant tournament is larger than Champions. Taking place once a year and being the equivalent of League of Legends’ Worlds, we now know where 2026’s Valorant Champions ^[1] will take place.

Valorant Champions to go to Shanghai in 2026

Riot Games has previously stated that it wants to ensure that Valorant Champions takes place in the heart of every major region worldwide, and this apparently marks the next step toward that mission.

This wouldn't be the first time a large-scale Valorant tournament takes place in Shanghai, since there has been a Masters Shanghai before. Naturally, Champions is much larger in scale, and it remains to be seen how popular next year's Champions is.

When and where will Valorant Champions 2025 be?

This year, Valorant Champions is slated to be in Paris, France. The event will officially kick off on September 12th and go on until October 5th, where the finale will be held at the Accor Arena. This is also where this year’s champion team will finally be determined.
