Valorant has to be one of, if not the most popular FPS games out there. With its imaginative skins and large player base, more players are always hopping into the game for the first time, and with it out on consoles, it’s now more accessible than ever before. However, one feature players have been asking for since the game’s inception is a replay system.
While neither PC nor console players have gotten the replay system yet, not all hope is lost. According to developers, Riot is trying to add a replay system to the game. That isn’t all, as a Valorant port is leaked to have the replay feature included in it, although it isn’t either the PC one or the console one.
So, without any further ado, here’s which requested feature is coming to Valorant and for which port. If you want a professional coach to take a look at your live gameplay to see which areas you have to improve on, you can always hire a Valorant coach from Eloking to give you a hand. Is Valorant getting a replay system?
Fans have been requesting a proper replay system similar to what Counter-Strike has ever since the launch of Valorant, but it still hasn’t been introduced to the game. After about four years post-launch, in March 2024, Valorant developers revealed they are trying to add the feature to the title but cannot share an estimated launch date because of how difficult it is to implement it.
Valorant Mobile is getting a working replay system
However, it seems the unannounced mobile port of Valorant has a working replay system ahead of the PC and console launch. Since Valorant Mobile entered its alpha testing phase, multiple leaks have surfaced online, including a new replay feature.
Leaks show that the replay system in Valorant mobile includes the ability to change the POV between different players, enabling x-rays, full stats, KDA, and checking moments second by second. It's unknown whether the feature will allow people to free-roam view and look at matches from a different perspective, similar to what’s in Counter-Strike 2’s replay system.
The X account ValorantMobileX, the same leaker that uploaded the video of the replay system in action, claims that match replays might be unavailable after every game update, just like other titles with replay systems like Super Smash Bros or Counter-Strike 2.
According to rumors, the replay system in the mobile version of Valorant may be exclusive to that platform, so PC and console players might have to wait for a while before they get to use it for themselves.
Does any PC version of Valorant have a replay system?
Yes, the Chinese version of Valorant has a replay system. When the PC port of Valorant launched in China in 2023, its local client allowed players of that region to watch moments of previous matches. However, that version only showcases and compiles kill highlights of a game instead of letting people replay the entire match.

FAQ
How useful is a replay system?
The replay system is a great mechanic for casual and competitive players since it lets them view previous matches. For casuals, they can look back at their kill highlights, any plays they’ve made, or just something funny that happened to them. Competitive gamers can analyze matches to learn what they’ve done wrong to improve themselves.
When will the replay system for Valorant launch?
Riot hasn’t announced any release date or estimated time for the mobile port or the replay feature for PCs or consoles.
