The LTA championship will take place in Texas

The 2025 Legends of the Americas Championship will take place in Allen, Texas, marking the league’s first-ever end-of-season regional finals. Riot Games confirmed the event will be held on September 27 and 28 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center, a 7,000+ seat venue located just north of Dallas. Fans from across the Americas will gather to watch the top teams from both conferences battle for the LTA crown and qualification for Worlds 2025 in China.

Allen’s selection reflects Riot’s goal of reaching wider audiences with live events while delivering a packed weekend of competition and fan experiences. Mastercard holders will get exclusive early access to 1,000 pre-sale tickets on June 14, with more details about fanfest activities, merch, and viewing parties set to follow soon. 

Here’s what to know about the League of Legends LTA Championship and its location.

Where and when is the LTA championship?

Riot Games has chosen Allen, Texas, as the hosting city for the season-end Legends of the Americas 2025 regional championship. The event will occur on September 27th and 28th at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center. This multi-purpose indoor arena is located north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, capable of seating over 7000 people. The venue has previously hosted concerts, sporting events, graduations, trade shows, and family ice shows.

Pre-sale ticket access for the LTA Texas event begins at 10 AM PT on Saturday, June 14. Up to 1,000 pre-sale tickets will be available exclusively to Mastercard holders. Riot Games also announced that additional details about fanfest activities, watch parties, and merchandise sales for the Texas championship will be revealed at a later date.

What will happen at the LTA Texas championship?

The LTA championship in Texas will include the top three teams from both the northern and southern conferences at the end of Split 3. These teams will fight for the first-ever LTA championship title in front of a crowd and for spots at the League of Legends world championship. This offline event at the Texas venue will determine the teams for the World Championship, which is set to take place in China across Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu, with the top three teams qualifying.

The LTA itself was formed in June 2024 after the merger of LCS, CBLOL, and LLA. Split between the North and South conferences, each features six partnered teams and two guest slots. Teams must re-qualify for the LTA through the season-end promotion tournament by defeating the best tier-two league teams. The LTA north conference is supported by partners such as AT&T, Mastercard, and Kia, secured at the start of 2025. South conference partners include Heineken, Kia, KitKat, and Mastercard.
