Valorant has a bunch of maps that players can play either casually or competitively. While some of them are full of hidden areas and corners like Pearl, others are open with less places to hide in like Breeze. However, the common thing is that every map has a couple of Agents who are ideal for them.
Today, we’re about to go through every Valorant map in the current rotation and drop the best Agent for those maps. Naturally, we’ll also go through why exactly those Agents are so good in those maps to ensure you can use the best tips and tricks to utilize those Agent abilities to win big.
So, without further ado, this is the best Valorant Agents for every map. If you don’t know any agent we go through, you can always hire a professional coach from Eloking to teach you how to play them. You can even use the code “BoostToday” for a 20% discount when you do so.

What is the best Valorant agent for each map?
With 25 agents in Valorant and 13 playable maps in Valorant, picking the right character for each area is essential to win matches. As of right now, there are only seven maps in rotation. Fortunately, selecting the correct agent for most of these maps is simple, and we’re here to assist you guys.
Ascent
Ascent is one of the most popular maps in Valorant due to its simple design and being playable since the game’s launch. Like almost every other map in the game, it has two sites, so all you need to enter is a good duelist. Most people consider Jett as the best option in Ascent, as she allows players to dash into either site and hide behind corners before they can react. If you’ve got a good team, it’s a guaranteed entry.
She works great in defense thanks to her smokes. They’re short smokes, but they provide enough time to reposition yourself so you can wait for your team.
Bind
Bind has many corridors and tight areas, and no agent thrives with those conditions as much as Iso. His walls and Undercut abilities allow players to safely push areas while also making sure the opponents have low health.
Iso’s utilities work perfectly on attack and defense, making him the ideal pick for this map whether you’re playing solo or tactically with a team.
Split
Like Bind, Split has many tight areas where agents can flush out opponents. Combine that with fast traversal over those places, and Raze checks all the boxes. In defense, she can throw her grenades in small corners to damage enemies while forcing them to move, guaranteeing easy kills for you and the team.
In offense, Raze can use her satchels to bounce into sites and lead her team where they can cover angles while she pushes.
Breeze
Unlike Bind and Split, Breeze focuses on long-distance combat more, where characters like Viper or Chamber can help the team. Viper can block off areas, making them smaller to help her team push or defend.
Chamber can use his ultimate for a free sniper, which is almost essential if you want the upper hand in maps like these.
Sunset
One of the defining features of Sunset is the amount of choke points it has, and the only agent that shines the most in that department is Cypher. He can turn any site into a stronghold with the proper use of his tripwires, cameras, and cages,
While attacking, he can use his abilities to prevent flanks and get easy eliminations.
Icebox
Choosing the best agent for Icebox is tricky, considering it has multiple long-range and short-range zones. An agent that kind of compliments both is Killjoy. With her traps, she can prevent opponents from pushing, and with her robots, she can get knowledge.
Her abilities work great in offense, particularly her robot, because it can pinpoint a defender’s location the moment it sees it, making it perfect in wide-range areas like the attacker spawn.
Lotus
The final map on our list is Lotus, the only three-site map in the game alongside Haven. Since it has three sites, the map is huge, and the only way to get control over everything in such a situation is by using a smoker. The best smoker in this case is Omen, thanks to his precision in smoking and his ultimate, which lets him teleport almost anywhere on the map. In defense, he can block any push with a few well-placed smokes.
While attacking, he can get his team to distract the defending team so they all gather into a single place, and then he can teleport to the other site. This way, the defense must go through the big map, buying the attacking team lots of time.
