Complete Deadlock heroes tier list (September 2025)

Complete Deadlock heroes tier list (September 2025)

Deadlock may not be out yet, but the game continues to break records with its alpha stage. In particular, the August update added much content to the game, including new heroes, a new mode, and gave reasons to jump into the game once more, even if it’s not actually out yet.

Even though the full version has yet to come out, we’ve compiled a tier list of every hero currently in Deadlock [1]. This includes the S-tier heroes Drifter and Seven, as well as the A-tier ones like Abrams and Billy. We’ll also highlight which B-tier characters need a little more improvement to really climb the ranks.

So, without any further delays, here is our definitive Deadlock hero tier list for September 2025.

S-Tier Deadlock heroes

These are the S-tier characters, or the cream of the crop. Having the potential to change the course of the match in their favor without any help, these heroes should be prioritized and mastered as soon as possible.

Drifter

Drifter is all about hunting down lone targets. With his ambush tools and stacking weapon damage, he snowballs fast and becomes scarier the longer the match goes on.

Victor

Victor feels unkillable. His aura chips away at everyone nearby, and if taken down, his revive ultimate lets him make a comeback in the fight to cause chaos.

Seven

Seven brings huge AOE damage and wave clear, making him the go-to pick for farming and team wipes. His Storm Ultimate can turn fights if left unchecked.

A-Tier Deadlock heroes

While not as game-changing as S-tier characters, these characters are still extremely strong and can comfortably rack up kills or assists.

Warden

Warden’s a sturdy bruiser who locks down fights and makes escaping difficult. He’s great at frontline pressure and chasing, though a bit weaker at range and against poke.

Wraith

Wraith thrives in split pushes and duels, thanks to her teleport escapes and point-and-click CC. She’s slippery and oppressive on the map, but falls off fast if shut down.

Abrams

Abrams is a straightforward tank who heals through punishment and wrecks enemies up close. His mobility and CC make him a nightmare in tight spaces, but anti-healing and ranged poke keep him in check.

Mo And Krill

A disruptive tank duo that thrives on mobility, healing, and heavy CC. They are tough to beat and deadly with lockdowns, though weak against range and anti-heal.

Billy

A durable brawler with tons of CC and sustain. He can shred and trap slippery enemies, but is easy to kite if his gap closers are down. He also requires skill to master.

Ivy

Ivy is a versatile pick who can fly, support, and split push. She’s tough to pin down and excels with allies, but requires coordination and is vulnerable to healing reduction.

Lash

A flashy initiator with great mobility and deadly combos. Great at diving in and locking down teams, but punishing if you get CC’d.

Yamato

A high-skill duelist with high outplay potential. She can shred once online, but can be fragile and heavily reliant on her ultimate.

Kelvin

Kelvin is a tanky, flexible frontliner who can heal, disrupt, and control fights. Tough to kill, but struggles against poke and anti-heal.

Haze

Haze is a sneaky assassin who dominates with picks and a strong ultimate. She can shred fights at the front, but needs to avoid being shut down.

McGinnis

McGinnis is a flexible support with area control thanks to turrets and team sustain. Great early and mid-game presence, but ineffective in the late game.

Infernus

A fiery engager with huge AoE and chase power. He’s strong if snowballing and clearing waves, but squishy if he falls behind.

Paige

A reliable support who keeps the team alive with reasonable healing and utility, making her a decent pick in most compositions.

Dynamo

Dynamo is versatile with big engages and clutch heals, though he shines more in coordinated teams than solo play.

Holliday

A high-skill sharpshooter who rewards good aim and creative setups. That said, she has a high skill ceiling and needs strong coordination.

Paradox

Paradox is a tricky disruptor with huge outplay potential, but requires sharp timing and team synergy to shine.

Calico

Calico is a slippery assassin with great burst and escape tools. Deadly in skirmishes but vulnerable if caught.

Lady Geist

A lifesteal duelist who thrives in 1v1s and clutch turnarounds, though she can struggle in teamfights.

Pocket

Pocket is a mobile shotgun trickster with tons of AoE and outplay potential. Strong up close, weaker against poke.

Sinclair

Sinclair is a steady and well-rounded carry with consistent damage. He’s a solid pick but lacks flashy abilities.

Vindicta

A deadly sniper who can snowball hard with her Assassinate. Great at poking and picking fights from above, but can fall off if shut down early.

Viscous

A disruptive tank with tons of CC and mobility through his goo forms. Amazing for peeling and creating chaos, but tricky to master and easy to misplay.

B-Tier Deadlock heroes

While still useful, these B-tier characters have situational abilities and utilities that make it so they aren’t ideal in every situation.

Mirage

Has great map presence and utility, but falls off fast if behind and relies heavily on landing skillshots.

Doorman

His creative kit adds tons of utility. That said, he is awkward to use and very squishy, making him hard to pull off consistently.

Shiv

Has high poke and mobility with strong execution potential, but is fragile and needs to dive close, making him risky.

Grey Talon

Has deadly ranged damage and snowball potential, but reliance on the team can leave him open.

Vyper

Flashy assassin with strong burst damage, but very fragile and inconsistent if she misses her combos.

Bebop

Bebop can make great plays with hook picks, but he is too reliant on cooldowns and struggles in open fights.

Mina

Mina has good mobility and scary burst potential, but is super squishy and easily shut down by counters.
