Every team qualified for VCT Champions 2025

Every team qualified for VCT Champions 2025

Valorant may have a lot of teams competing from all over the world, but that doesn’t mean they’re all equal. Every regional team has tournaments where they face off against teams from the same region, eventually leading to the international tournaments. While the many Masters are important, Champions is easily the biggest tournament of the year.

Today, we’re here to go through every single team that has qualified for VCT Champions 2025. This includes fan-favorite characters like G2 Esports, as well as some teams that fans may not be too familiar with, including RRQ and XLG.

Without any further ado, here is every team that qualified for the Valorant Champions tournament for 2025.

G2 Esports

G2 comes into Champions 2025 looking unstoppable. They crushed NRG 3–0 in the Americas Stage 2 grand final and have been stacking trophies all season. With valyn's smart game plans, trent’s steady impact, and leaf adding explosive plays, they’re easily the favorites.

NRG

NRG fought their way through the lower bracket to make it to the grand final, knocking out big names like Cloud9 and Sentinels. Brawk has been clutching up in key moments while Ethan and s0m provide steadiness to the mix.

Sentinels

Sentinels are heading to Champions after a strong third-place finish in the Americas playoffs. While they stumbled against G2 and NRG, their roster is solid. Zekken’s sharp aim, bang’s flexibility, and johnqt’s calling add a dangerous edge.

MIBR

MIBR managed to make their way into Champions despite an inconsistent Americas run, which ended on a high note with a surprise 2–0 win over LOUD. With aspas leading the charge and steady support from xenom and nzr, they’re a streaky and momentum-driven squad.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid looks reborn after winning the EMEA Stage 2 title. nAts anchors their defense with trademark patience, while trexx and Keiko bring tons of aggression. They’ve finally found balance in team structure, though consistency can be an issue.

GIANTX

GIANTX shocked everyone with their lower-bracket run to the EMEA Stage 2 grand final. With Cloud’s sharp aim and westside’s fearless plays leading the way, they can be lethal, though still unproven under pressure. That said, a solid early game can knock out any big team.

Fnatic

Fnatic had a bit of a shaky run in EMEA, but they’re still one of the most respected names in competitive Valorant. Boaster’s steady calling and crashies’ experience keep them grounded, while Chronicle and Alfajer bring the firepower. They’ve got depth, clutch potential, and legacy on their side.

Team Heretics

Heretics come in as one of the more interesting wildcards, with Benjyfishy’s sharp aim and the Boo–MiniBoo duo giving them real punch. As recent EWC champions, they’re a high-ceiling dark horse looking to cause major upsets.

Paper Rex

Paper Rex is entering Champions as Pacific’s top dogs, and their 178–60 record showcases their haunting dominance. PatMen, Jinggg, and f0rsakeN have led them through, but their biggest challenge this VCT will be battling against tight defenses.

RRQ

On paper, RRQ's 33–35 record might suggest a struggling team, but they gained momentum at just the right time with a lower-bracket run to the Pacific Stage 2 grand final. Monyet and Jemkin lead their aggressive style, helping shake off past doubts about their consistency.

T1

T1 have been quietly building form, and while they are no Paper Rex, they have promising players like Meteor, BuZz, and stax. They’ve struggled to close tight series, but with a Masters Bangkok title this year, they’re a dangerous dark horse on the rise.

DRX

DRX aren’t the unstoppable force they once were, but they’re still worth watching. Sitting at 30–17, MaKo’s veteran presence and Flicker’s sharp aim keep them competitive. They do stumble with leads at times, which is why improving coordination will be key this tournament.

Bilibili Gaming

BLG is riding high after snatching its first regional title, entering Paris with a reasonable 62% win rate. whzy and Knight's performances have helped them shake their early-exit reputation, but now they need to prove they can handle international pressure without losing their identity.

Dragon Ranger Gaming

Demon1’s arrival brings the firepower DRG needed, perfectly balancing Flex1n’s calling and making the team sharper overall. They’ve already dethroned EDward Gaming domestically in China, and now it’s about proving they belong on the world stage.

EDward Gaming

Once the undisputed kings of China, EDG enter with an impressive record but a bit less shine than before. While players like ZmjjKK and CHICHOO have stayed effective, finding that old ruthless confidence could change everything.

XLG Esports

Despite being new to the Valorant scene, XLG has already lifted the VCT China Stage 1 trophy this year with an impressive win rate. Their main spark is Viva, who makes fearless entries, while NoMan makes flexible calls. Dominating Paris can prove that they can turn flashes of brilliance into a full championship run.
