Valorant: Best Tejo lineups and tips for Bind

Valorant: Best Tejo lineups and tips for Bind

Tejo is one of the newer agents in Valorant [1], and despite being just another initiator, the playable character has taken over the FPS game’s meta. As a matter of fact, Tejo had one of the highest pick-rates during the recent Masters Bangkok 2025, despite his abilities not having much mobility for professional players.

One of the maps we didn’t get to see much in professional play with this character is Bind. Being a fan-favorite map and almost always being in the competitive rotation, it’s only natural players will want to know which lineups they should use for both Tejo’s Special Delivery and Guided Salvo abilities. Of course, we’ll also give you a handful of tips for this character to make things easier.

So, if you’re interested in mastering the Bind map as Tejo, keep reading because we have you covered. If you want, it’s also possible to hire a professional Valorant coach from Eloking to show you the ropes. Just don’t forget to use the code “BoostToday” so you get an excellent 20% discount in the process.

Special Delivery Lineups on Bind

Special Delivery is a sticky grenade that detonates when it comes in contact with a surface. It can disrupt enemy positioning or concuss enemies. It can be launched directly or aimed at walls and other surfaces to bounce once, allowing players to reach tricky angles.

1. Attacking A site Lamps

Juggle peak to ensure there’s no Op, then left-click to deploy the grenade toward A lamps to concuss enemies and allow your duelists to push. This is a straight-line direct launch and can also be done from behind the crates in this area.

If it isn’t safe to peek and launch, come from the mid-entrance toward A site and position yourself with your crosshair on the edge of the wall. Right-click to launch the grenade.

Note: This works even better if your teammates smoke A heaven to prevent duelists from getting one-shotted.

2. Attacking A site showers

Aim at the edge of the entrance at showers and right-click to launch the grenade. This ensures your duelists can quickly get in, especially someone mobile like Raze, Jett, and the new agent Waylay. It’s crucial to communicate with teammates to ensure they can go in and take down the enemy while they’re stunned.

3. Defending A site

If the enemy team is planting on A main near showers, align yourself with the green boxes and aim your crosshair on the zigzag of the backsite wall as shown. There’s a good chance that this will disrupt the planter or their teammates on watch.

4. Defending B site

This is the perfect lineup for retakes. Go from defender’s spawn to B into CT. There’s a little window at the top of elbow, where you can aim as shown when you’re safe from getting pushed.

The grenade will hit any enemy waiting in the corner, allowing your teammates to rush in more easily.

Guided Salvo Lineups on Bind

A perfect map control tool, two missiles are launched to the chosen areas, forcing enemies to reposition or take damage. It works best with flashes and smokes, leading to some early-game kills while also opening the site.

1. Attacking A site Lamps

Launching missiles at the chosen areas of the map below disrupts enemy positions, allowing duelists to push since the opposing team will probably back off instead of coming forward.

Note: A better way to do this would be to select a spot closer to the A Lamps door while your teammate flashes. This confuses the enemy, with the blindness preventing them from being able to move to safety, forcing them to take hefty damage or get killed.

2. Attacking A site from showers

While pushing showers, Tejo can launch guided salvo missiles in front of lamps and backsite as shown. This forces the enemy to seek cover while duelists open the site.

Note: your team needs to smoke heaven to avoid getting one-shotted by any Ops

3. Attacking B site hookah

This one is pretty straightforward, it disturbs enemies camping in hookah, allowing your team to push.

4. Attacking B site from Long

A much better way to utilize the missiles- select these areas on the map while your team pushes long. It forces enemies back behind the box on main, allowing your team to get onto site without being one-shotted.

Note: Works best with a sage wall to block off elbow and allow your team to plant. Enemies will be forced to come from the backsite entrance, but your team can position in both hookah and long to pick off any diffusers.

Tips to use Tejo on Bind

Now that you know some of the best lineups to use as Tejo on Bind, it’s time to go through some tips that should help you properly utilize this agent to its maximum potential.

Master the Stealth Drone for Reconnaissance

Tejo's Stealth Drone is invaluable for scouting and suppressing enemies in concealed positions. When attacking A site, deploy the drone from A-Lobby to clear A-Short and A-Lamps. Alternatively, use it to inspect A-Bath for lurking opponents. On B site, launch the drone from B-Link to check B-Hookah or from B-Fountain to scout B-Garden and the B-Teleporter area. Remember, while operating the drone, position yourself safely to avoid being caught off-guard.

Leverage Guided Salvo for Area Denial

Tejo's Guided Salvo allows you to target specific map locations with missile strikes, making it ideal for area denial. When attacking A site, aim the missiles at A-Lamps and the brown box to clear common defensive spots. On B site, targeting B-Hookah or B-Elbow can force defenders out of position, facilitating a smoother site entry. This tactic not only disrupts enemy setups but also destroys traps set by agents like Cypher or Killjoy.
Utilize Special Delivery Grenades to Disrupt Defenders

Tejo's Special Delivery grenade is perfect for flushing out enemies from entrenched spots. When attacking A site, throw the grenade into A-Lamps to disorient defenders or into A-Bath to disrupt potential ambushes. On B site, use it to concuss adversaries in B-Hookah or those holding B-Garden and B-Teleporter positions. This approach can significantly ease your team's entry into contested areas.

Synergize with Complementary Agents

Tejo's abilities can be amplified when paired with agents like Gekko or Fade. Gekko's flashes and mollies, combined with Tejo's drone and grenades, can overwhelm defenders, making site entries more manageable. Fade's Seize ability can trap enemies in place, allowing Tejo to deploy his Guided Salvo for guaranteed eliminations. Such collaborations can significantly enhance team performance on Bind.

FAQs

How can Tejo's Stealth Drone be effectively used on Bind?

For instance, using the drone to check corners and obtain information about a certain location on the Bind map can help in planning attacks or defenses.

What are some effective strategies for playing Tejo on Bind?

Effective Tejo players on Bind often use the agent’s abilities to control crucial areas and gather information. For example, deploying his Stealth Drone to scout and suppress enemies, using Guided Salvo to disrupt enemy positions in Hookah and B Long, and unleashing Armageddon in tight spaces like A Short or B Site can significantly impact the outcome of rounds.
