Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive is out, and the game is already making waves for being one of the best recent anime games. While the game gives players the choice to choose between multiple classes, some players may want to change their class to switch things up.
The good news is that players can also change the class of Jinwoo in Solo Leveling: Arse Overdrive. To do so, players can just activate the Overdrive in Jinwoo’s skill tree to ease those skills to a new path, effectively changing his class.
Solo Leveling: ARISE Overdive uses a dual-profile system to let you rebuild Jinwoo’s class as needed. The second profile starts with all skill and stat points unspent, so you can activate a new class’s Overdrive in its skill tree and reassign those points to the new path. This process resets only skills and stats, and your gear and other progress remain intact.
Open Jinwoo’s character menu and select the second profile tab at the top. This profile has no allocated stats and contains all your unspent skill points from the first profile.
Skip any “Burbs” prompt if it appears, then enter the Skill Tree menu.
Activate the Overdrive for the class you want to use. This sets the class path for the second profile.
Spend your stored skill points to unlock skills in that class’s tree, then go to the Stat page and reassign your attributes to match the new build.
Configure your new skill combo in the skill set menu so that Jinwoo’s attacks use the abilities of the chosen class.
By following the steps above, your second profile will function as a fresh class build for Jinwoo. You can then switch back to the first profile at any time to restore your original build.
Tips before changing your class in Solo Leveling
When changing classes, it’s generally better to switch early while you have fewer points invested. This gives you more flexibility to experiment without worrying about losing major upgrades or having to overhaul a heavily invested build.
Moreover, after swapping to a new class, make sure to reconfigure your combos and skill set right away. Adjusting these settings ensures that Jinwoo’s attacks and abilities match the new class path and function correctly in combat.
It’s also best to dedicate each profile to a single class tree, as mixing skills from two different paths usually weakens your overall damage. Committing to one direction per profile keeps your build efficient and focused.
If the class name in the menu looks incorrect, such as still showing your old class, there’s no need to worry. This is only a visual bug, and your newly selected class and skills are still active behind the scenes.
You won’t lose any gear or story progress when switching classes, since only stats and skill points are reset. This makes it easy to rebuild your second profile whenever you want. With one profile for your original class and another for your new build, you can freely switch between the two and try out different playstyles without any long-term penalties.
