Naafiri has been one of the more straightforward assassins in League of Legends since her release, often criticized for having a simple playstyle with little room for skill expression. Riot Games has heard the feedback and is now reworking her kit to introduce more depth, decision-making, and flexibility, while also making her a viable jungle pick.
This rework features ability swaps, new mechanics, and increased packmate power. Her W and ultimate have been swapped, her passive allows for more packmates, and her new ultimate is a powerful dash with reset potential. Additionally, Riot has adjusted her damage, mobility, and jungle capabilities to create a more skillful and versatile champion.
Let’s break it all down. If you want to take your Naafiri to climb the high-elo ladder, it may be a good idea to hire a professional LoL coach from Eloking to show you the ropes. Just don’t forget to use the code “BoostToday” for an excellent 20% discount.
Base Stat Adjustments
Naafiri is getting a slight nerf to her health growth and health regeneration[1], making her a bit squishier over time. This means she’ll have to rely more on her mobility and packmates for survival, especially in extended fights.
Passive – We Are More
The biggest change to her passive is an increased pack size. Naafiri now scales up to five packmates instead of just three.
New scaling:
Level 1: 2 packmates
Level 9: 3 packmates
Level 12: 4 packmates
Level 15: 5 packmates
Her packmates now deal more damage to towers and monsters, making her a better jungler.
They also take less AoE damage, making it harder for enemies to clear them.
However, to balance this out, their damage has been reduced since she can now have more of them.

Q – Darkin Daggers
The base damage on both casts has been slightly reduced.
This helps balance out her increased pack damage and jungle strength.
W – The Call of the Pack (Formerly Her Ultimate)
Naafiri's old ultimate is now her W, but with several changes:
No longer grants extra attack range, bonus AD, a shield, or vision.
Now grants two extra packmates, allowing her to reach a maximum of seven for a short time.
Gives increased AD and bonus movement speed, helping with all-ins and engages.
Makes Naafiri and her packmates untargetable for one second, adding outplay potential.
E – Eviscerate
Damage slightly reduced.
Cooldown lowered by one second, making it more spammable.
Increased range, which scales based on cursor position.
R – Hound’s Pursuit (Formerly Her W, But Upgraded)
Naafiri’s ultimate is now a targeted dash, rather than just a movement speed buff.
No longer stops at the first enemy hit—she can choose who she dashes to.
First takedown allows a recast, giving her asecond dash if she secures a kill.
Damage is significantly higher, with better base values and AD scaling.
Ultimate range is now larger from the start.
What This Means for Naafiri
This rework gives her:
More skill expression. The untargetability on W and the dash-based ultimate add room for better outplays.
Better jungle potential. Packmates are stronger against monsters, and her improved W helps her clear camps efficiently.
Stronger teamfight impact. With an ultimate that lets her dive into the backline, she now plays more like a high-mobility assassin[2] rather than a brute-force engager.
Riot has taken a simple assassin and given her depth, counterplay, and versatility. With better jungle viability, improved packmate mechanics, and a skill-based ultimate, Naafiri might finally see more competitive play.
