All Marvel Rivals Season 6 hero buffs and nerfs

Many assumed that Marvel Rivals wouldn’t go as strong as it did at the start, but that isn’t really true. While the game doesn’t have the same popularity it once did, it still has a dedicated player base that anticipates all of the game’s updates and changes.

With Season 6 on the horizon, players are already gearing up for all of the hero buffs and nerfs that they can expect. We’re here to highlight all of them so that you know whether your favorite hero will be getting a boost in strength, or if you’ll have to look for a new main if you want to keep up.

So, without any further ado, here are all of the hero buffs and nerfs in Marvel Rivals ^[1] Season 6.

All Vanguard changes in Marvel Rivals Season 6

Angela

• Angela is a bit easier to deal with in fights, especially when she commits forward.
• Shielded Stance shield value reduced from 350 to 300

Captain America

• Cap gets a boost to his offensive pressure and uptime.
• Vibranium Energy Saw cooldown reduced from 8s to 6s

Doctor Strange

• Doctor Strange becomes more mobile and more threatening when using Dark Magic.
• Maelstrom of Madness Dark Magic to damage conversion increased from 1.2 to 1.3
• Cloak of Levitation now has a new recast effect
• Recasting during use interrupts the ability
• Current movement speed is preserved
• New movement input can change flight direction

Emma Frost

• Emma Frost builds energy faster across the board, letting her stay active longer.
• Energy from hero hits increased from 10 per second to 12 per second
• Energy from sentience hits increased from 15 per second to 18 per second
• Energy from shield hits increased from 5 per second to 6 per second

Hulk

• Hulk becomes tougher, faster, and harder to control once he gets going.
• Incredible Leap minimum charge time reduced from 0.5s to 0.4s
• Incredible Leap maximum charge time reduced from 2s to 1.7s
• In Hero Hulk form, Gamma Burst cooldown reduced from 8s to 6s
• Gamma Burst projectile damage increased from 70 to 75
• In Monster Hulk form, Hulk is now immune to launch and knockback effects

All Duelist changes in Marvel Rivals Season 6

Black Panther

• Black Panther gains better survivability when committing to his ultimate.
• Spear Toss damage increased from 45 to 50
• Gains 50% damage reduction during Bast’s Descent startup animation

Blade

• Blade’s playstyle shifts more clearly based on weapon choice.
• Hunter’s Shotgun Daywalker Dash now slows enemies by 40% for 1.5s
• Second hit damage with Hunter’s Shotgun increased from 20 to 50
• Ancestral Sword Daywalker Dash now removes slow effects
• Ancestral Sword applies 8% healing reduction per strike for 3s, up to 32%
• Ancestral Sword damage reduced from 15 to 8 per hit
• Hunter’s Shotgun pellets per shot reduced from 12 to 11
• Damage falloff now starts at 15m instead of 20m
• At 30m, damage now drops to 50% instead of 40%

Daredevil

• Daredevil’s burst damage and Fury generation are slightly toned down.
• Devil’s Chain high damage range reduced from 80 to 75
• Devil’s Throw projectile damage reduced from 32.5 to 30
• Total Devil’s Throw damage on a single target reduced from 65 to 60
• Fury gained from Devil’s Latch on surfaces reduced from 2 to 1

Iron Fist

• Iron Fist gets small but meaningful buffs to offense and defense.
• Jeet Kune Do fourth strike damage increased from 30 to 35
• Dragon’s Defense maximum duration increased from 1s to 1.2s

Namor

• Namor’s base power goes up, but his Team-Up impact is reduced.
• Aquatic Dominion duration per charge reduced from 12s to 10s
• Default Monstro Spawn health increased from 100 to 125
• Default Monstro Spawn damage increased from 17 to 18
• Enhanced Monstro Spawn damage increased from 11 to 12

All Strategist changes in Marvel Rivals Season 6

Cloak & Dagger

• Cloak and Dagger receive a big support rework focused on flexibility.
• Dagger Storm healing reduced from 55 per second to 45 per second
• New effect added to Spell Fields
• Allies in range now receive a one-time heal of 60
• Veil of Lightforce and Terror Cape now share charges
• Maximum shared charges set to 2
• Each charge takes 12s to recharge
• Using either ability triggers a 2s cooldown on both

Gambit

• Gambit’s sustain and ultimate power are pulled back.
• Big Easy Impact healing per explosion reduced from 25 to 15
• Total healing reduced from 75 to 45
• Ragin’ Royal Flush healing reduced from 75 per second to 55 per second
• Bridge Boost bounces on a single target capped at 2

Invisible Woman

• Invisible Woman becomes less durable and provides weaker self-sustain.
• Guardian Shield value reduced from 250 to 200
• Shield restoration rate reduced from 42 per second to 34 per second
• Total restoration time remains the same
• Guardian Shield self-healing reduced from 50 per second to 25 per second

Rocket Raccoon

• Rocket loses some mobility while staying disruptive.
• Wild Crawl movement speed reduced from 10m per second to 8m per second
