League of Legends [1] has slowly but surely become a global phenomenon, largely thanks to the many media outlets the game has delved into. From shows to card games and even music, no aspect is nearly as popular as the game’s competitive scene. Names like Faker and Zeus are known, even by those outside of the LoL community.
League of Legends has a whole Hall of Legends where only the most iconic and well-known people are added. The first ever inductee in the LoL Hall of Legends was Faker, and for good reason. Now, the second inductee is slated to get his own Transcendent Skin in LoL Patch 25.12, and we know who.
Here’s what to know about Uzi, the second inductee in the League of Legends Hall of Fame.
Uzi to be added to the LoL Hall of Legends
Jian “Uzi” Zihao is one of the most iconic players in League of Legends history. He began his career in 2012 with Royal Club and quickly gained attention for his mechanical skill and aggressive playstyle as an AD carry. His breakout moment came in 2013, when he helped lead Royal Club to the World Championship final. Despite losing to SK Telecom T1, Uzi’s standout performances made him a global star.
Over the next several years, Uzi became the face of Royal Never Give Up (RNG), with whom he found his greatest success. In 2018, he reached his peak by winning the Mid-Season Invitational and several domestic titles, including LPL Spring and Summer. That year, he was widely regarded as the best ADC in the world.
However, injuries and burnout began to take a toll. Uzi retired in 2020 due to ongoing health issues, including problems with his shoulder and type 2 diabetes. He briefly returned to play with Bilibili Gaming in 2022 but never reached his previous level. Thanks to how respected the player is in the League of Legends community, it makes sense that Riot Games would give one of the pioneers of competitive ADCs a spot in the Hall of Fame.

What is the second LoL Hall of Legends skin?
As it was with Faker when he was inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Fame, Uzi will also be getting a Transcendent skin and a Hall of Legends 2025 Pass Skin. The champion to get a Transcendent will be Kai’Sa, who’ll get a gold and black skin with a blonde high ponytail that’ll utilize her level-up mechanic in some way. The champion to get the Hall of Legends 2025 pass skin will be Vayne, one of the champions Uzi is associated with.
