What is All Random One Site mode in Valorant?

All Random One Site is a new, limited-time 5v5 Spike mode that's launched in Valorant’s Season 2026. In this mode, Agents, as well as their weapons and even the maps, are randomly selected or restricted, thus creating chaotic matches. The traditional economy system is removed, and the AROS mode instead focuses on immediate combat, ability usage, and adaptability.

How does the All Random One Site mode work in Valorant?

At the start of each round, each player will be randomly assigned an Agent automatically. It is not allowed for players to choose an Agent that they want to be, nor can the Agent that they are assigned remain with them once each round changes. You can’t have the same agent in the same team, which ensures team variety. Any Agent can be assigned to any player, even if they haven’t unlocked them yet. This mechanic pushes players to adapt to unfamiliar kits, roles, and team compositions.

Players start each round with full charges on all abilities. Using abilities costs nothing, and they recharge as usual during the round. Ultimates begin at 0% every round. However, players can pick up Ultimate Orbs that are scattered across the map. Each of these orbs gives a +50% charge when picked up, and each kill gives +50% charge. Adding on, any ult charge a player has is dropped as orbs once they are eliminated, so ultimates charge much faster than in standard modes like Unrated or Competitive.

Regarding weapons and economy, players neither earn nor spend credits, and there are no buy and save rounds. Instead, players choose from a pool of free weapons available at the beginning of every round. However, the weapon options do gradually increase as the rounds go on. Pistols and light weapons are available in the initial rounds, while rifles and other powerful weapons become available in later rounds.

How many rounds are in Valorant’s All Random One Site mode?

Matches are much shorter than normal in Valorant’s All Random One Site mode. Rather, it’s first to 5 rounds in AROS, compared to first to 13 wins in Unrated or Competitive play. Teams can have as many as 8 rounds, with the first team to 5 wins taking the game.

Each round also has a short buy phase, with the Spike mechanics remaining the same. The Attacker has to go through the process of planting the Spike, while the Defender's objective is to either stop the Spike from being planted or defuse a Spike that has been planted. Moreover, players can't respawn between rounds, similar to Unrated, Competitive, or Swiftplay.

Which maps are available in All Random One Site mode?

AROS doesn’t use Valorant’s full map pool. At the start of the round, the game randomly activates one Spike site, either A or B, and seals the other off with a large barrier. The active site is revealed during the buy phase, and the round is restricted to that site, along with the connecting mid-area. This means that all fights and spike-planting take place on one site only. A specific set of maps has been picked out for this mode.
