Online gambling company 1xBet, based in Cyprus, has been announced as the official betting partner for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major in Counter-Strike 2. This move strengthens the company's growing presence in the esports scene and further embeds its brand into major competitive events.

This partnership marks another step in 1xBet’s continued push into the esports world. Earlier this year, the company signed a two-year agreement with tournament organiser PGL, making it the exclusive betting partner for PGL’s Counter-Strike and Dota 2 events through 2026. In 2024, 1xBet also partnered with the PGL Major Copenhagen, the first Major held under the Counter-Strike 2 title.

Beyond tournament sponsorships, 1xBet has teamed up with multiple esports organisations, including BESTIA and OG Esports, strengthening its role within the competitive gaming ecosystem.

Leading up to the Austin Major, BLAST replaced BESTIA with Legacy after the Argentine team failed to confirm player visas by the deadline. The change reflects the high standards and logistical demands required to compete on an international stage.
