How to Get Mageblood in Path of Exile 2

How to Get Mageblood in Path of Exile 2
Listen to this post

How do you get Mageblood in Path of Exile 2? In PoE2 Early Access 0.5.2, the only current source we verified that names a Mageblood-specific route points to the Ritual Favours page.

That source is a third-party guide updated August 1, 2026, not current official game data or patch notes. So here is the route it documents, the exact deferral math, and the lines I wouldn't cross when spending currency on unconfirmed alternatives.

The documented PoE2 0.5.2 route is Ritual Favours

The direct play is to run Ritual content and inspect the Ritual Favours page for Mageblood as a unique reward. The August 1 guide calls Ritual the targeted, repeatable chase because the reward page can be refreshed instead of leaving the whole attempt to an unidentified global drop.

My call: target Ritual, but treat this as current third-party documentation rather than an official guarantee. Chance, trade, random drops, Reforging, and Expedition need separate proof before they deserve your currency.

Run the Ritual Favours loop without wasting rerolls

  1. Run Ritual content and complete its revived monster waves to build Tribute.

  2. Open the Ritual Favours page after the encounter and inspect every listed reward for Mageblood.

  3. Select Buy if Mageblood appears and your available Tribute covers its listed cost.

  4. Select Defer instead when the belt appears above your Tribute budget; don't reroll the page and throw away the documented fallback.

  5. Select Reroll when the current Favours page doesn't contain the belt and you can pay the displayed reroll cost.

Use available reroll-cost reduction to refresh the Favours page more efficiently. This supports the Ritual loop, but the available evidence does not provide a measured Mageblood appearance rate.

Deferral costs 15% of Tribute when the belt is unaffordable

If an expensive Mageblood appears and you cannot buy it immediately, click Defer instead of rerolling the page.

Per the August 1 Ritual guide, deferring an expensive belt costs 15% of its Tribute. The item then reappears in the next Ritual at a Tribute price that is 10% cheaper. Check that you can cover the displayed deferral charge before choosing the option; the result you want is the belt returning on the next Favours page with the reduced price.

Deferral is cost management, not ownership. The available evidence doesn't establish how many repetitions a specific Mageblood will need, how long the full chase takes, or a published appearance rate. Don't plan around a made-up attempt count.

Chance, trade, drops, Reforging, and Expedition remain unconfirmed

For PoE2 Early Access 0.5.2, chase what the evidence can actually name: the Mageblood listing on Ritual Favours. Everything else is a theory until it gets item-specific proof.

FAQs

In Early Access 0.5.2, the only documented route is the Ritual Favours page: run Ritual content, build Tribute by clearing the revived monster waves, then check each Favours page for Mageblood and buy it when your Tribute covers the listed cost.
Deferring an unaffordable Mageblood costs 15% of its listed Tribute, and the belt reappears in the next Ritual at a price 10% cheaper. Defer instead of rerolling when it shows up above your budget — rerolling throws that fallback away.
It is not a verified method. Current checked sources do not establish Mageblood as an eligible Orb of Chance outcome in 0.5.2, so don't spend currency on chancing until item-specific evidence appears.
