Overwatch 2 Can't See Rank? Quick Fix

Back when Overwatch 2 launched, it had a brand new rank system where players weren't able to see their ranks at all. However, there's a very common glitch where players still aren't able to see their ranks, despite the ranking system having reverted back to how it was in the first game. One thing to clarify is that this is about seeing your rank. If you're interested in your SR, then here's how to see your exact SR in Overwatch 2.

If you can't see your rank in Overwatch 2, there are a couple of things you can try. The first is to ensure there your internet is working as it should be without fluctuating, while the second is to ensure your game is updated. The final two things you can do is either uninstall and reinstall the game or contact Blizzard support.

If you aren't able to see your rank in Overwatch 2, then don't worry because we'll help you get to the bottom of things for sure.

#1. Check Your Internet Connection

The first thing to do is definitely to ensure your internet isn't acting up. Because fluctuating internet connections can cause a bunch of unpredictable issues like eternally connecting to the game server, there's a small chance that it isn't that your rank isn't showing up, it's that your rank isn't loading.

Therefore, you should check to see if you're able to use your internet for other things. To quickly do this, simply jump into a random arcade match in Overwatch 2 to see if you're able to play properly. If you face frequent rubberbanding and bad connection, then you've found the problem. Pause any ongoing downloads and restart your router to see if it works, otherwise, you might have to contact your ISP.

#2. Check For Overwatch 2 Updates

As we mentioned above, ever since the fourth season the old ranking system where players weren't able to see their ranks hasn't been in the game. However, if you didn't update the game, it's possible that you still have the same ranking system.

While this should be theoretically impossible since it's necessary for you to be playing on the updated version of the game to connect to the servers in the first place, there's no harm in trying, right? If it turns out that you do indeed have an update available, download and install it and then run Overwatch 2 again to see if you're able to see your rank.

#3. Uninstall and Reinstall the Game

Since you should be able to see your rank in Overwatch 2, it doesn't make sense for something like your rank to disappear unless there's a software bug with your game. As you probably know, the best way to get rid of any software issues is by simply uninstalling the game completely and then installing it again.

If you're playing on PC, the quickest way to uninstall Overwatch 2 will be by going to the Blizzard launcher and looking for Overwatch 2. Next to the play button, you'll see a cog symbol that you can click to open up several options you can choose from. Click on 'uninstall' and that should be it with the uninstallation process. Just install the game again and hopefully, you won't have the issue again.

#4. Contact Blizzard Support

If the issue persists then there's most likely something wrong on Blizzard's side. Therefore, the only thing you can realistically do at this point is contact Blizzard support. To do so, 

1. First, head to the official Blizzard support website
2. Then, click on 'contact us'
3. Select the 'customer support' option
4. Log in to your account, and select 'technical issues'
5. Finally, type in that you can't see your rank in Overwatch 2 and submit the ticket.
