How to Improve Your Aim in Overwatch 2

How to Improve Your Aim in Overwatch 2

Quick question. What does the S in FPS stand for? If you answered shooter, give yourself a pat on the back because you're correct. Overwatch 2 is one such FPS game where the shooting aspect is one of the most important. However, to efficiently be able to shoot, you'll have to improve your aim as much as you can. But how can one do that?

There are a couple of things you'll have to do if you want to see your aim improve in Overwatch 2, such as looking for the best settings for yourself, reducing motion settings, having a good Aim Labs routine you follow every day, and finally practicing as much as you can. If you want an even faster way, then having a coach can make a world of difference.

We'll be going through five of our professional given tips that are bound to help you improve your aim in Overwatch 2.

Use The Perfect Settings

Now, as we all know, sensitivity is a major factor when it comes to how well someone's able to perform in an FPS game. However, what a lot of people don't know is that the best sensitivity for one person might not be suitable for another person and vice versa.

Because of this, it's always recommended to experiment around with your sensitivity, trying out the settings various professional players use for themselves and checking if those settings feel natural to you or not. If you feel like one combination of sensitivity settings isn't working for you, then go ahead and try a different one. The world is your oyster.

Reduce Motion Settings

This one might sound a little weird, but there are certain settings that are enabled by default in Overwatch 2 that make it more difficult for you to properly focus on a specific enemy. Because of this, pretty much every professional has these specific settings either disabled or reduced.

As soon as you disable or reduce these settings, you'll notice that every time you go against a bunch of enemies at once, or if there's a lot of chaos on the screen, you'll be able to more clearly see exactly what's going on. This will result in you being able to aim better as well.

Have a Good Aim Labs Routine

By far the best way to improve your aim when it comes to any FPS is by having a routine you follow every day which is specifically made for that one game. This is because different games have different movement, gun swaying, and shooting mechanics.

Luckily for you, we already have the best Aim Labs routine for Overwatch 2 made for you to follow instantly. Try following the routine every day, or at least five days a week. to notice an insane improvement in your Overwatch 2 aim.

Practice

Now, we realize this might be difficult for players who only get one day out of the week to play, or maybe go an even longer time without playing the game because of other commitments or responsibilities.

In this case, it's recommended that you make the most of the time you're able to play. Actively make an effort to hit headshots when you're playing, and even when you aren't playing, try looking at clips of professional players playing to get a feel of how things should be done. Of course, there's always the practice range too if you feel like you don't have the time for a full match.

Have Someone Show You the Ropes

The final and perhaps the quickest way of improving your aim is having someone else, specifically, someone who's already a professional at the game, show you how things are done.

If you don't have someone like this (don't worry. Most of us don't) then the best thing would be to hire a professional Overwatch 2 player from Eloking to show you the ropes instead. You can select the play with booster option and select however many games you want to play.

While the match is going on, you can ask the booster for a couple of tips and even have them spectate you for a while to see first hand what you can do to improve your aim and then write up an improvement schedule based on you specifically.
