League of Legends: Riot Finally Confirmed a Viktor VGU

Riot Games has officially confirmed that Viktor will be receiving a Visual and Gameplay Update (VGU) in conjunction with the release of Season 2 of the popular Netflix series, Arcane. Alongside this update, players can look forward to a new top lane champion, Ambessa, Arcane-inspired game modes, and new skins as well. Given his transformation in Arcane, where he interacts with the hex cube to heal his illness, Viktor might adopt a full purple hextech mode or gain enchanted abilities that enhance his skills.

Riot has hinted that Viktor’s appearance will reflect his evolved state in Arcane Season 2. While the final design is still under wraps, it’s likely that he will showcase a more dynamic and animated hextech metal look, potentially incorporating living, moving hextech elements. Reworked Skins

A significant part of any VGU is the rework of the champion's existing skins. Viktor doesn’t have an extensive skin collection, but many of his skins are quite dated. Updating these skins will bring them up to modern standards, offering a refreshed experience for long-time Viktor players. 

Skins like Prototype Viktor and Full Machine Viktor might even receive special attention. There’s speculation that Prototype Viktor might showcase a more human form, reminiscent of his appearance in Arcane Season 1, while Full Machine Viktor could highlight his complete transformation.
