What new Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 skins are coming?
The Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 update, launching May 30, 2025, introduces seven bold character skins. The highlight is Ultron’s X-Tron skin, having gold-plated armor with black and red accents. Groot’s Yggroot skin swaps his usual bark for a sky-blue and white design with rainbow flourishes, making it a legendary-tier cosmetic. Hawkeye’s Binary Arrow skin will be a free reward during the Ultron virus event, having a sleek, tech-inspired redesign.
The update includes a collaborative set with Scarlet Witch and Adam Warlock’s Immortal skins, mixing red-and-gold sorcery with earthy, regal robes. Namor’s Retro X uniform exhibits classic X-Men aesthetics via a blue-and-yellow suit with golden trimmings.
These aren’t all of the revealed skins, as one of the most sought-after and anticipated collections that’s on the horizon is of the Fantastic Four. Players will get the chance to acquire the Future Foundation skins for the Fantastic Four, with three members of the team wearing the iconic white outfits from the Future Foundation storylines. Oddly, Human Torch doesn’t seem to be getting the Future Foundation outfit, as it seems like Spider-Man will be getting it instead.

Getting these skins depends on the character. Ultron’s X-Tron skin will likely be in the in-game store after it launches, but the price is unknown. Groot’s Yggroot skin is priced at 2200 Units, equivalent to around 22 dollars, and Namor’s Retro X uniform is available for 1400 Units, or about 14 dollars on its own, or 1600 Units as part of a bundle. Storm’s Ultimate Wind Rider skin requires unlocking a premium combat chest that costs 690 Lattice, roughly 7 dollars, and includes additional cosmetics.
