League of Legends [1] may have been around since 2009, but the game has largely stayed the same. Teams of five go into the rift to gather gold to buy loot. The only way to access the shop is by returning to the base, and since walking all the way back would be too tedious, there’s a simple recall button to instantly go back.
However, what if you didn’t have the recall button? A new bug in League of Legends made it so players can sell their recall spell with no way to get it back. Riot Games has yet to address the issue, but it’s only natural that players are in arms about the issue, especially considering how much gold you get for selling it.
So, if you accidentally ended up selling your recall spell in League of Legends, don’t worry because you aren’t alone in the issue.

Why can you sell your recall in League of Legends?
However, it also added a bug that may seem minor on the surface but can cause players to lose their lanes. We are, of course, talking about the bug that lets you sell your recall spell. Curiously, the recall spell appears as an item in the shop for some players, letting them sell the recall spell. Of course, since it likely isn’t intentional, there’s no way for players to get their recall back since it isn’t buyable.
Additionally, there's also the fact that the recall spell holds absolutely no monetary value. Players can sell the spell, but they won’t get a single gold out of it. All you’ll lose is a lot of seconds as you have to manually walk all the way back to your spawn area every time you want to buy something or heal, which gives the enemy time to take your turret or farm to their heart’s content.
Interestingly, Riot Games has yet to address this issue, which is weird when yo you consider that YouTubers have already started making videos on the matter. Some fans are hoping a professional player accidentally sells their recall spell during the ongoing LEC or LCK tournaments to force the developer to say something about it.
