All Breeze map changes in Valorant

Valorant has quickly become one of the most popular FPS games, dethroning the likes of Overwatch 2 and coming close to CS2. A big reason for the game’s rise in success is the updates that the developer keeps coming out with, ensuring that players have a steady stream of new content.

The newest update in the game revamped the Breeze map, which many players had issues with. In addition to making the game less linear and giving it more corners to promote proper tactics, the map has been added to the map pool again after going away.

So, if you’re interested in learning about all of the Valorant Breeze changes, keep reading because we have you covered.

Is Breeze returning to the map pool in Valorant?

Every change coming to Breeze in Valorant

A site rework

A gaming environment featuring pyramid structures and a crate.

There’s a new box at A main which makes the entrance safer for attackers hiding against defenders. The left box gives attackers a chance to escape. There’s a corner at the right that’s slightly farther from the entrance, which provides defenders with a better angle to peek from. The entire site has a wide range, covering the whole place.

The A stairs are removed so snipers can’t hold from that angle. A small passage to mid replaces it. There’s a new building on the site, creating a new angle for defenders. The yellow container is diagonal instead of horizontal. A ropes are replaced by a route that connects A’s back site and the defenders’ spawn.

Riot has added a new box in the back site that allows attackers to defend the spike from CT. The box behind the yellow container is removed. The wood barrier has been removed, so players coming from mid will have fewer spots to clear or spam. A new corner allows hiding from CT for safer retakes. A site feels closer thanks to less open space and more spots to clear.

B site rework

A fantasy castle scene featuring a large pipe and a wooden crate.

The box in the B main entrance has been repositioned, reducing a hiding spot for attackers if their push fails. B site is closer and less open. The wall connecting to the mid lane is pushed forward, reducing the space in the middle. There are multiple new boxes in the map to create more angles and fight opportunities.

Walls are bigger on the back site, reducing the defensive angle for long-range weapons. There’s a new box on the right side. B cubby is a bit bigger, and the stairs are removed, providing a good angle for attackers to breathe when entering the site.

Mid rework

A vibrant gaming map overview featuring buildings and greenery.

Mid is less open, with more space to hide and new angles from added boxes and a bigger wall. The mid entrance to A site is a bit open, but has less vision of the site. The side box has been removed for a clearer path. A jump that allowed attackers to take control of top mid and B link is removed, so only characters like Jett and Raze can go there.

Mid halls now look like corridors instead of an open space. A new wall reduces access to defender spawn, shortening vision and slowing down enemy rotation visibility. Elbow doesn’t have sight of the mid lane, but a small window allows info abilities like Fade’s eye or Sova’s drone to go through.

Nest is smaller for defenders. Moving a box to the right creates a hiding space for defenders. Attackers have less vision of Nest from under it.
