Mr. Fantastic is an excellent Duelist in Marvel Rivals and his goofy but effective abilities can dominate matches when used properly. Mister Fantastic’s abilities in Marvel Rivals

• Stretch Punch (Basic attack): Mister Fantastic stretches out his arm to punch opponents at mid-range. It can hit multiple targets by flicking the camera around.
• Brainiac Bounce (Ultimate): It's strong ground smash ability where Mister Fantastic jumps into the air and slams down to deal damage while slowing down enemies in the impact zone. Players can use this attack an extra time whenever a hit lands.
• Reflexive Rubber: Absorbs up to 300 incoming damage for three seconds and reflects it toward enemies.
• Flexible Elongation: Dashes towards a targeted enemy to deal damage and grant a shield to nearby teammates.
• Distended Grip: Extend arms forward to grab an enemy. If the player presses the primary fire button, they can pull the opponent towards themselves or knock them airborne by colliding with another target.
• Elastic Strength (Passive): Using abilities generates Elasticity, which increases attack power. Reaching full Elasticity activates the inflated state, where players get extra shields and a damage buff.
• Wedded Harmony (Team-Up): Mister Fantastic gets damage resistance and bonus health from Invisible Woman.

A simple combo involves using Distended Grip alongside Flexible Elongation. Players can pull an enemy toward themselves with a Distended Grip and dash into them with the other ability for a quick kill.

Use Reflexive Rubber to absorb ultimate attacks and counter enemies. For example, if Iron Man uses his ultimate, Reflexive Rubber can reflect it towards him for an easy kill.

Managing Elasticity

Constantly use basic attacks and abilities to build up Elasticity. Reaching the Inflated state doubles Mister Fantastic’s health and buffs his damage, making him incredibly strong during team fights as a frontline.

Avoid over-relying on the Inflated State because it prevents Mister Fantastic from using other abilities for a short period. Players must plan engagements to ensure that it doesn’t activate at an inconvenient time.

Brainiac Bounce is not only good for offense, but it’s a great tool to escape during bad situations. Try to aim for tightly packed enemies to chain consecutive attacks to deal extra damage.

Utilize Flexible Elongation to quickly reposition. It's versatile, providing mobility and protection, allowing players to retreat or dive into enemies.

How to effectively use Mister Fantastic’s ultimate

The unique thing about Mister Fantastic’s ultimate is that he can repeatedly hit enemies again as long as he makes contact. The best time to use the ultimate is when enemies are together so players can jump from one person to another. It feels like a good idea to use it against single enemies, but it’s never worth it, considering the player won’t be able to attack again.

Remember that Mister Fantastic is vulnerable while his ultimate is active and can still get damaged, so players must avoid using it when they don’t have their teammates close by. It’s better to cancel the ultimate and stop using it to avoid taking extra damage.

Best team compositions for Mister Fantastic

Mister Fantastic works well in teams with lots of crowd-control capabilities—for example, Venom’s tankiness and ability to disrupt enemies pairs with Mister Fantastic’s mid-range attacks. Hulk can absorb damage, allowing Mister Fantastic to damage safely.

Ensure that Invisible Woman is on the team because the team-up ability can increase Mister Fantastic’s survivability. Using the skill during tough situations can prevent enemies from killing the player.

Another team composition is high DPS characters and support. Mister Fantastic can protect them using his Reflexive Rubber ability. The best combination is when his team can create mayhem for him, where he can use his primary attack to deal lots of damage to multiple enemies. He can use Distended Grip to isolate high-priority targets and create openings for damage dealers.

Communication is essential when playing Mister Fantastic. Use his ultimate when it's convenient for the team and combo with their moves to get multiple eliminations and secure the objective.

Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman’s team-up in Marvel Rivals

Mr. Fantastic will likely get more team up abilities as new characters come out, but the only one he currently has is with his wife, Invisible Woman. When activated, Invisible Woman grants Mister Fantastic a new ability, which gives him increased damage resistance and continually generates bonus health.

This allows Mr. Fantastic to keep fighting while having abilities that Vanguards and other Strategists would otherwise give him. With that being said, this team up isn’t nearly as powerful as some other team ups in Marvel Rivals, though it’s a nice little bonus.

Will Kamala Khan come to Marvel Rivals?

Now that Mr. Fantastic is in Marvel Rivals, some long-time fans may wonder whether fan-favorite character Kamala Khan will be added to the game. After all, her powers are identical to Mr. Fantastic’s in most comic renditions, so it wouldn’t make sense to add two characters with identical powers.

Well, while it’s possible for Marvel Rivals to add a version of Kamala Khan that’s like her MCU version, that version isn’t really liked. Therefore, it’s fairly unlikely that Kamala Khan will come to Marvel Rivals. 

Additionally, there’s also the matter of her religion. Since Marvel Rivals has given birth to much NSFW content that the community has made, the developing studio may not want to add someone like Kamala to the game. Fortunately, those who want to play as Miss Marvel can always play the Avengers game that starts her alongside the rest of the Avengers.

Will more members of the Fantastic Four come to Marvel Rivals?

Marvel Rivals already has two of the four Fantastic Four members. While Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic have already been added to the game, The Thing and Johnny Storm have also been confirmed to be coming to Marvel Rivals in Season 1. With all four members of the Fantastic Four added to the game, it’s likely a matter of time until Doctor Doom comes to it too.

After all, not only is Doctor Doom a fan-favorite character, but he’s also the primary antagonist of the Fantastic Four. Additionally, since he’ll likely be the primary antagonist of the next MCU saga, it would make sense for Marvel Rivals to capitalize on the hype and release Doctor Doom then. Maybe a skin for Robert Downey Jr. will be purchasable too.
